All Korean idols are underweight, male and female. The way V looks now may be his real weight for a young man his age and height. Military needs strong, ready, focused force of men, not anemic shaking boys, and that is impossible if you are depriving yourself of food. Every idol gained weight during service, but it is mostly muscles, and V is proudly showing his new look. Knowing how much they all love food, I am happy they finally started listening to their bodies and ate regularly. Since they are there, they may as well make the best of it, and they are with pride. The shaming and judging is so primitive and outdated, it is time to change many rules of Kpop and the mindset of their society.

The weight issue is so ridiculous. V (as well as the other members) are probably healthier now than they ever were before! The military is giving them a diet that will sustain their bodies for all the vigors they go through while enlisted. They are by no means fat. The K-Idol industry makes all their groups super slim which is unrealistic to the general population. Half look like they're starving, especially when you can literally count each rib and see their spines. People look up to their idols and many aspire to be like them. This is not setting a healthy presidence for anyone. V looks amazing!! I'm so proud of his accomplishments and can't wait to see what he does when he comes home to us. 💜

He is a soldier he has to follow orders. Also it isn't unusual for celebrities to take part in military events, musicals promotional vídeos. Both Actors & Kpop artists do this it's quite common. GOT7 Park Jin-young took part recently at an event with many other Kpop artists who are enlisted. Actor Nam Joo-hyuk was also at this event...etc. As SK is still at war no one should critisize or make a big deal, Koreans are proud of him that is all that should matter & be said about the matter. Actually only haters are making a big deal about it because a few weeks ago Namjoon gave a whole speech supporting the military & no on said moo but as soon as Taehyung is involved ppl get batshit crazy. Good Morning Dave, i love it when BTS Are more complex because they have more weight and thinner didn't look good like before, Yoongi is the only one who often has more weight and that suits Yoongi very well and with the other 6 would look good, then you look older, although Yoongi and a few other members Always looking older, like Taehyung, Seokjin and Namjoon after Yoongi. That's why I don't think it's bad if they look older because of their extra weight, because the extra weight suits them better Above all, I know other K-pop singers who are curvy and that is a member of Super Junior and then Jeonyeong and Jihyo from Twice, both of whom were a bit more curvy for a while and that suited the two of them very well and that's why I don't understand why many people have a problem with BTS being active on stage with a slightly larger figure. Namjoon was also strong for a while and I think that made him even more attractive and good looking. Namjoon was always overweight as a child. I saw old photos of Namjoon as a child and still going to school, that was actually quite okay. But always grown-up age,As you get older, it is quite normal to gain weight because you move less. Of course, you can stay slim even as you get older if you continue to move and be active as you get older. like at a young age. That happens too. But it is usually normal that you gain some weight as you get older. That's why I would welcome everyone because of their and when they return from the military, with their little weight gain, even if it will be unusual for the fans, I don't think it's bad at all, it looks better in my opinion and makes the 7 still attractive. I love men with more weight because my fiancé is also well built and I don't think it's bad. But everyone has a different opinion about it what I think is okay can be done by everyone but I am only expressing my opinion on it Taehyung looks very good especially with SDT uniform, sure looks strange when Taehyung held his weapon in his hand and used it for his training, but Taehyung still stands, because Taehyung is doing it for his country and wants to show that he is proud of his country and wants to show that he is a proud Korean citizen These people should stop complaining and leave it as it is and Bang Sik Hyuk should be quiet that he is not suitable as an idol because of his increasing weight Not true, then it would be the same with other K-pop idols who are strongly built.What nonsense.

Unfortunately the guys will probably go on crash diets after they get out. I know I have seen many idols do that. I personally would rather they stay at healthy weights, but that's not my choice. I actually have a theory that their extremely low weights - kpop idols as a whole, even before BTS, but those low weights was a deterant for the western world. We tend to see being extremely thin as being sickly and I think that was just uninteresting to us like 10, 15 years ago. But, I know many things contributed to it taking a while for western culture to warm up to kpop. I just think it was one of those things that added to it.

Here it is, It is Mandatory in South Korea that the male/men join the military for 18 months to 2 years. They will be using guns, tanks, grenades, knives, land mines, etc....They are learning to fight for their country, when needed. These soldiers are not going to be sitting on their a$$ and not do anything.. This is the real deal.....Yes, the BTS members and soldiers will get hurt at times. That is called learning... And whatever the BTS members do in the military, they will give it their all..... ( BTS does not do anything half way)
