Authentic Kerala Dishes With My Personal Touch 😍
Ingredients
Grated Coconut -9-10 tbsp
Jaggery Surup -1/2 cup
Cardamom Powder -1/4tsp
Salt -one pinch
Wheat flour -1cup
Water -1/4cup accordingly
Salt
Method
For the filling:- heat a kadai add jaggery syrup. When it boils well add grated coconut. Mix well. Add salt, cardamom powder. Mix well. Add the banana (optional). Saute well.
Take a bowl add Atta and salt. Add ½ tsp oil and mix the dough. Make the dough by adding water in batches. The dough should be slightly loose.
Take a banana leaf or butter paper. Sprea the dough on the banana leaf. Make it as thin as possible. Add the filling in the center. Close the edges. Now steam it for 10 mins on high flame.
