Out of no where my expanding die stopped flaring my cause mouth enough and my dies were not loose. I think the little piece at the bottom of my expanding die isn’t rising up far enough or something of that sort. I’m going to start messing with it now.

I can see how folks would not want to have to reset their dies once done, and therefore, buy the EZ change outs for each caliber. That’s what I’ll be doing for sure. Thanks!

That is what I did, plus if you buy dillon dies the center of them will come out for cleaning, leaving the outher body of the die still locked in the tool head

What are your thoughts on upgrading to power funnel to the mbf funnel?

I just got my dillon XL750 my question is When the platform is down should the failsafe rod be down in the slot or up in the slot? It looks like yours is up in the slot

When my case comes out of the flaring process, it feels like the case is sticking any suggestions ?
@76Highboy2 ай бұрын
@markcampbell7173 Spray your cases down with case lube before you put them in the case tumbler. I dry tumble my cases, and I spray case lube in my tumbler media, so all of my cases have lube. If you lube them, your machine will run like butter. I hope that helps. Highboy

@ I wet tumble my brass, and use carbide dies, I guess I’ll have to figure out a way to get lube on the inside of the case mouth where it seems to stick.

@markcampbell7173 Simple. Just pour them onto a dedicated ragl and spray them. Give them 5 minutes and wad them up in the rag and hold the rag over the case feeder, and open the towel. I buy my rags at Costco, they are about 12" x 12".
