2024 Nexon Variants Explained | Smart(O), Smart+, Pure, Creative, Creative+, Fearless, Fearless+ S

May 2024: V3Cars analyses which variant of the new Tata Nexon makes the most sense to buy. The new Nexon is available with a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission, a 6-speed manual transmission, an AMT or a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The Tata Nexon SUV is available with 6 engine-transmission combinations. The ex-showroom prices of the 2024 Nexon start from ₹8.00 lak for the Smart (O) variant with the 1.2L turbo petrol engine and 5-speed MT. The petrol range tops out at ₹14.80 lakh (ex-showroom) with the Fearless Plus S variant, which gets 1.2L turbo petrol engine with 6-speed DCT.
The 2024 Nexon is 3995mm long, 1804mm wide and 1620mm tall. Bigger exterior dimensions give a car a stronger road presence. The Nexon has a 2498mm long wheelbase. A long wheelbase makes the car more stable at high speeds and gives better legroom in the back seat, while a shorter wheelbase makes the car more agile.
The 2024 Tata Nexon has a fuel tank capacity of 44 litres and a boot space measuring 382 litres. The Nexon has a ground clearance of 208mm. The tyre size of the 2024 Nexon base model is 195/60 R16 and the top model rides on 215/60 R16 tyres.

I think when you do price justification you should compare from base variant, rather than previous variant. Comparing with just one lower version is not proper comparison. We should compare all the features with base variants to know how costly they are. They must be about 5 times costly than the upgrade done outside. That insight will definitely help others. For example blaupunkt tpms costs 7k, it jaimaica costs 23k, 360 degree camera 5k etc.
