19:50 Hey I know that spot! It was a total washout the previous year. You were there just a few days before we were! My son and I did this portion, over July 4-5. We were in a topless and doorless two door JK at the time. That was a mistake I will never make again. Forest fires mean no trees mean nothing but silt and dust. It took two days to wash out the Jeep and ourselves. We had a blast!

I saw your jeep at NWOR but you weren't with it so I couldn't say hi. I have been to several of the places that you went too in this episode and its cool to see you checking them out. Your right to be wary of the late night walk throughs, a lot of thieves out late in the hills. A couple years ago while camping in Liberty, Wa we had a late night visitor. That visitor almost met the business end of my dog. The campers about 150 feet away did not have a dog and got a bunch of mining equipment stolen. My new piece of equipment I setup at night while camping is a good trail camera so I can see who or what might be walking by.

Old tech: Take a string and a few empty cans tied to them. As the string gets pulled by their boots, rattle, rattle, rattle, and now the dog has a job to do. Now its time to grab the base ball bat and help the dog. For defensive purposes only of course. Stay safe.

How many miles do you have on the BFG's? I see there is an alignment issue on the front but all the tires are very warn. I thought you got them last fall. I know they usually last a really long time so I would say you are putting a lot of miles on your rig which is awesome.

I sometimes wonder if some enforcement officers do this deliberately when they realize the citation they have to write is inherently unfair.
@donewhiskey5 жыл бұрын
@@Nunyabizn3ss Not usually. Most would ask you to contact their supervisor to lodge a formal complaint about that parking limitation. They tend to follow the law, as that is their job. The one area I see parking enforcement officers become more opinionated and emotional is handicap parking. They truly love giving citations to people that do not have a disability and park in those spots.

Very nice video. Your videos are so simple. No music. No special effects. No drone shots. But still turns out interesting. That is remarkable. What software do you use to edit your videos? Do you have a gopro 6? What camera do you use often to shoot most of your videos? I leave on my Summer Road trip in 2 days. Heading to Vegas, then Utah to all 5 parks, Moab for offroading, then hitting the road to Ouray, Colorado for some more hardcore offroading. Was thinking I would meet you on the way, but does not seem possible.

The biggest threat when out on an adventure is always the two legged predator .. That is the main reason I am always armed and have a dog .. Thieves are cold hearted predators and have no soul as they prey on others .. Sending one running off with their tail between their legs and a fresh load in their underwear is an enjoyable experience that can be shared around the camp fire ..

I'm not sure what made me think of it, but there would seem to be opportunities where someone could take advantage, or event rob your site. what, if any occurrences have you heard about or experienced. I could even imaging accidentally coming across hidden marijuana farms with booby traps. Growing up in the NE along the Appalachian mountains, there isn't really enough remote area for that sort of thing, but I have heard of those types of farms in national parks out west, due to their size and remoteness. Anyway, it might be a good topic to cover; "security when overlanding, common sense precautions, and when to follow your instincts and back away."

They are remolds (not ot be confused with retreads) but some of the best tires Ive bought yet. 4-31's for 400.00 with free shipping......Thats 100.00/tire! and they have a good rep too. They claim its a mud terrain, but its setup like a BFG allterrain style pattern (not identical). about 1500miles per 32nd of tread depth hwy. I was really pleased with mine, and aside from being sponsored for tires, you wont find a deal like that anywhere else.
