Just got back into rc myself and got my first Arrma (Vorteks 3SBLX) recently like yourself. Loved it so much went and got the Kraton EXB and now waiting for HW Max6 ESC to complete my beast. Need more rc content like this!

How has your Vorteks 3S? How has it held up? I'm looking at that, the Kraton 4S V2, and the 6S V5 in the video. Vorteks seems great but I'm concerned about reliability with the plastic drive.

@@Krapper515 Little pebbles and stones keep getting in there causing scrapes along the shaft, sometimes locking it up but still going strong and cheap to replace (and sorted by turning it upside down, give it a shake and proceed). Though after you shoe glue & plaster tape it the body kinda "hugs" around the front so less gets in. You'll be replacing tyres mostly because this thing 4 wheel drifts all day on tarmac which I'm very much addicted to 😂

Yeah! Just like Traxxas says you need to purchase a Traxxas charger and Traxxas batteries or they wont cover your warranty. Or you want to buy a Traxxas Maxx and need to buy the Wide Maxx kit so the vehicle is more stable and wont keep flipping over. Should have came from the factory with the wider A arms and i refuse to buy Traxxas because they try to get more money out of you ten times more than Arrma!

Hey bro a couple tips, If you're gonna jump it id recommend getting front and rear chassis braces from hot racing or other companies. Its a great first upgrade. Also if you look to upgrade the wheels alot of us kraton guys run the backflip lp (lower profile) from the 4s outcast. They are a little smaller but also lighter and hook up great! Plus they are cheap compared to prolines. Hey are you in the northeast? Its pouring here too lol

It will. You can run 2x2s 2x3s or 1x4s 1x6s. It has a jumper if you only have one battery.

Has anyone had issues with the front axles/ dog bones popping out of the out-shafts in the front on landings.....? when you compress the front end the dog bones are so close to the edge of the out-shaft and any bit of flex on even a mild easy landing they pop out and completely fuck the out-shafts up and A arm because the dog bone gets wedged between the stabilizer bar and out-shaft holes when rolling away on landing.. This happens even on very basic small jumps not even bigger than any track jumps, NOT on throttle landing and perfect landings.. it's annoying as all hell! I have yet to make it though 1 full battery that's my record because it was on Flat street.. That's boring! it will last a jump or 2 and it's done....
