Lone Echo I and II are games that I think really show what VR gaming can be capable of. It's a shame that the games are Rift store exclusives, because between locking it out of both standalone and steamvr markets I think a lot of people didn't/don't get the chance to experience them

It is strange that Meta has not yet implemented the function of recording video in 3D format and allows you to record with only one “eye”, although this function has long been implemented by users in various ways. Using Quest 3 as a simple 3D camera would attract new users and not only those who are interested in games.

Ever since my Rift S died and I got the Quest 3, the software feels much, MUCH worse! It's not just the graphics, it's the Oculus/Meta home that's been downgraded, it's the fact that I can't use passthrough while using Link (when you're inside the boundary and want to stay within Link), the Rift home has been completely removed, and for some reason, even though the Oculus PC app supports hand tracking data, there's no hand tracking support in the dash. Meta really needs to take Link more seriously because I believe that there are many users, like me - who barely use the Quest as a standalone device.

I'm still upset about what meta did to Echo VR. There was no reason at all to shut it down. If thas what they considered a "dead game" , then there would be no games. Echo VR was one of the biggest we had. RIP.

Don't know if it's just me, but the audio seems really quiet. You can always turn the volume down, but unfortunately, it only goes up so high.

If you're looking to do some PSVR as well, then PSVR gives you more options. Ask of right now, Quest 3 works a bit better with a PC, but it's possible further updates will close that gap.

i updated my q2 to v68 today and now my room tracking is glitching :( it changes the position of the grid from time to time... the floor level, the X-Z posotion... will try to reset room history after recharge, hope it will fix the issue, or, well, idk, roll back to v67, or wait for v69...

ok, i did a reset of rooms history, maybe it helped. at least it stopped shifting over time. but one day i found my virtual head sticked to the virtual floor after a boot, and the room was rotated 45 degree, so i did another rooms reset. will see what will happen next. but certainly tracking was doing its job better before. and also some of my android apps stopped working as before. for example, i was using some process monitor to close background processes (yeah, for some reason some of the apps tends to hang its daemons in the background after using), so after updating process monitor couldn't close processes, and after i reinstalled process monitor app it lose the ability to monitor all processes, and the permissions window does not pop up anymore, instead of permission window os opens up the standard quest settings menu... i'm a bit upset, now the possibilities on my quest 2 is more limited than before. it's still possible to force close process through the process monitor when i call a list of all applications, but i can't see which is running right now and i have to scroll around the list...

I have one question. Is there an option to turn off the multiple windows like with V68? I'm elderly and retired, no need for all these windows. I just find more than one window open at one time annoying. Don't get me wrong, if I was 30 years younger I may think it was a cool idea and I'd like it to stay for you all but some of us just like one window at a time and think there should be an option to enable or disable. It's no longer in experimental.

Updated to V69, boundaries were all messed, I had to clear all and reset boundaries. Also, tracking of right controller with deadeye VR club attachment is not working making the game unplayable.

For people who have mid tear AMD GPUs the PS VR2 isn't the best option with 120hz being the only refresh rate you can pick the headset supports both 90 and 120 but not for AMD users

I went ahead and bought a PSVR2 and adaptor for PCVR and it came today and it's night and day difference to my quest 3. So no more blurry skyrim and no mans sky or microsoft flight simulator. You can make it better with tweaks. But nowhere near as good as the PSVR 2 is. So now my quest 3 is a standalone beast at VR and my PSVR2 is a PCVR beast. Good combination. Just a tad bit expensive lol
