Very enjoyable video - the intake boxes and the CF duct look sensational. Putting the mic in the engine compartment was awesome - sounds a very healthy motor but wonder what that tinkly rattle was with changes of manifold pressure? Wasn’t the rattle you had on the exhaust by any chance?

I think the rattle was just a poor quality microphone. I’ll redo the test soon with better equipment

You won’t gain power but you will def hear the intake more in Sport Plus. Also, not sure if you have Active Sound disabled or not, but that will allow you to hear it more in the cabin.

Cmon Tommy, did you really think you would get any power from that? You should’ve bought some after market drop-in filters and called it a day. The OEM airboxes are designed the best. Good job with your videos though. Keep up the good job.

I just installed VRSF charge pipes and now i'm trying to fit the dinan intakes on the M2 Comp but it just won't... Having issue to fit the top of the dinan intake box. It is getting blocked by thr charge pipe

Bl1ndskater6 open pulls hot air from the engine bay. Sounds better but is bad for performance. Closed box with a cold air feel snorkel is the best for performance but worse for sound

Tommy L Garage I thought eventuri actually has venting that redirects cold air to the filters and is more efficient and they also claim the design increases air velocity using the Venturi effect which is why it’s named that.

Due to tight emissions regulations, the original ducts are about as good as they get. £/$ 1000’s for a slightly different engine note is not an investment I’ll be making any time soon. The originals painted to match the bodywork is as much as I’m going to put in to this area.

Kupuje teraz biale tylko ze wzgledu ze w razie czego to rysek nie widac . Ale od pewnego czasu zaczynaja mi sie podobac wlasnie takie "wesole" kolory .
