Its not necessarily swapping the shocks out. It's replacing the springs on the shocks. Most likely to eibach springs. They do add stronger components like bearings and upper arms and trailing arms.

@ I’m aware of eibach and gieser and in my experience both of those options are inferior to the stock set up unless your goal is to clear taller tires or have a non raked appearance

Ben, it looks like they added bump stops, front limit straps, and either Geiser or Eibach springs. Raptors need limit straps to prevent overextension and bump stops, which can damage the top hat when upgraded springs are added. I also noticed the rear suspension has upgraded arms. Overall, you’re right... this truck is built for Baja. Ford makes the Raptor great, but these parts are from Foutz Motorsports. Greg Foutz, the owner, was part of the original Raptor team for Ford and raced Raptors for Ford in the Baja 1000.
