Remember, it’s 250WHP, add 25% for drivetrain loss and you’re at 300-310HP which I think is plenty for a 2600lb drift missile. You’re making as much as an older 350z and they weigh a lot more than 2600lbs.

You need an adapted intake manifold, then they bolt on. But I'm not sure if they make them for the vvti heads or not.

One of my good friends has a 1uzefte in is s13 and those engines are monsters when you turbo them. To my knowledge you can make 600 moderately safely with stock internals

I would put the rear axle in the correct spot before putting in the 4 link. It’s too far to the back and that may be cause it to axle tramp (wheel hop as you call it) all the time. I drift and rally a car with a live axle and they rarely hop.

Just dropping a little knowledge... you don’t actually feel torque, torque is the rotational (twisting) force and horsepower is the perceived work “perceived” (how fast and hard it’s twisting) being the key word... torque X rpm = horsepower, that 30ft-lbs you’re feeling is actually the 15hp ish gain in the low end you can see on the dyno graph at 8:43 keep up the projects! 250 is good for low displacement, don't try to turbo that, if you do you NEED to gap the rings or they'll expand from the extra heat and rip the top of your pistons off or shatter those stock rods, I've seen ppl put a turbo on stock rings and run fine for a bit then suddenly they lose power and have a ton of blowby or send a rod through the oil pan

I actually love the original paint of this truck, I’m so sick of seeing wraps and shit. I love a good nice patina, weathered look, especially on a truck. Also, my man you need to build this engine if you are really looking to boost it. You have aluminum rods and pistons, they won’t be nearly as reliable as if the engine were built up from the get-go and especially if this thing will be ripping sideways bouncing off of the limiter constantly at track days. Just looking out for ya, keep up the great content!

Quick question for ya, why did you use the 1UV V8 when many people use the old Foxbody 5.0L 302's? Did you want to stay Asian? Or just to be different. Looks great, I had an '89 2200 cab plus, she was slammed, I built a fake dual exhaust that went out where the rear bumper brackets should be & I used 5.0 tail pipes for that! Fun times in that truck!
