Casey, I've got a little bit of bad news. But maybe you already know this, but you need to add to your exhaust. You need to add between 18 to 24 inches of exhaust past your O2 sensors. Because they are so close to the end of your headers they will not get accurate readings for the computer. Also you might want to add some kind of connection at or between the bottom edges of your windshield. Because of the amount of power your engine makes, it is going to cause your body to flex, which could break/crack any new windshield. Maybe you could make a removable piece to connect both sides and go around your distributor. Bart

That cutout on the front window, u should make a box frame to fit the cutout then use sealant for added strength and to stop water, gasses, etc from entering the cabin. Aka a frame to support the inside of the glass. Then can box that in.

I may have missed if you mentioned whether you were gonna replace the windsheild and cut the new one with your cutoff wheel… I think having sharp 90 degree inside corners on a windsheild it’ll be a concentrated stress point and will crack from there very easily. So if you replace the windsheild it might be wise to actually do have it laser cut, or somehow radius the corners of the cutout. If you’re gonna leave your broken one then I guess it doesn’t matter. Lol

Would box in that fueltank it sits right behind the flimsy backplate. That part folds in like a tin can with the lightest accident. Seen many in the day with a light rear end damage. Pulled them back by chaining it to the liftpost drive forward slowly bending it straight againd so atleast the latch of the trunklid would catch again. Make a nice crashcase for it.❤

FYI you need to add more exhaust pipe to your exhaust or move the o2 sensors. The o2 sensor will not read correctly with them that close to the end of the pipe. You need to be probably at least 4 inch before the end of the pipe.
@Bertusproximus
@Bertusproximus Ай бұрын
That is a misconception. Placement is only dictated by exhaust gas temperature and to a lesser degree flow
@Bertusproximus
@Bertusproximus Ай бұрын
It just so happens that the best place for enough flow and optimal temperature of 800 degreesF happens to be in that measurement range on most set ups. If your headers are wrapped to contain heat there is a longer area of the same temps maintained

Shit you want a custom windshield it's not that hard to do. But I actually have polished a lot of glass for showers and other stuff. They make dry and wet polish for grinders practice on some scrap and I'm sure you can easily do it yourself. Also a continuous blade chips less but if you cut through a wet sponge it will not chip as bad as dry.
