V8 Patrol, Landcruiser Sahara and the World Wakeboarding Champion (4K)

In Episode 3 we complete a 3.5-tonne towing fuel consumption test on the 2020 Nissan Patrol and the Toyota Landcruiser 200 on the way to Lake Mulwala towing the LXV 6.7 and the LXV 6.2.
We take the Ford F-250 towing the Malibu Boats 23 LSV and catch up with the current world wakeboarding Champion Travis Osborne. We hit the water Wakeboarding, Wakesurfing and Wakefoiling.
The Nissan Patrol 2020 Y62 and the Landcruiser tow our LXV 6.2 and the LXV 6.7 down to Lake Mulwala and set up our base for the few days!

After this tested it proven high-tech petrol engine can match diesel on fuel consumption. That why nissan patrol don't need an diesel engine. 20k plus less. less maintainant. less diesel troubled. To me it a clear winner in both tests.

After buying a brand new Landcruiser 200 TTD in 2010 and owning for 4 years I will never buy another Landcruiser. I had so many issues not just engine related but mechanical and electrical. I also wouldn't purchase a diesel again if possible it is just a false economy. The Landcruiser averaged a 16L/100 over 4 years not towing anything.

I noticed that you filled those 4x4 up at a BP fuel station. I wonder if using fuel from other fuel stations, such as Shell (Vpower and diesel), would give a different result. (As most fuel companies have different percentage of octane in their fuels).

Another great comparo guys. Bit of style on the boards too. Pretty much as expected with the LC200 being a little better as this is what we normally see. The S5 is a great car with excellent figures for a petrol powered big lump. I am interested to know if you guys use drive or use the sports mode in either car? I wonder if that may change consumption figures. Thanks again guys and look forward to Bathurst, especially as an S5 owner and a bathurst tragic...

Love the last 2 vids it would be great if you could do some ride and handling tests, say with a coffee cup filled with water driving over bumps and corners at a set speed in the cab and in the caravan. Include an interior noise test as well.

I bet if he used 95 it would still be the same and the price of fuel goes up and down. In SA you can get petrol 18c cheaper then diesel most days

@@stobesy18 my experience is that the organised crime that runs SA fuel stations and the rediculous extortion requires you to have Costco membership if you own a y62. Fuel prices only vary 10c and is always cheaper than anywhere else.
