For a game that is 12 years old Rn i'd say they should definitely give it a proper end update, a lot of player were in childhood when this game came out, and now they are grown up, with so many good memories on this game, it deserve a final major update from rockstar and fiveM might be a good opportunity to keep this game alive even after GTA 6 release, so we can still all appreciate the city of angels from time to time

Personally I feel they might drop a couple more updates quality of life etc stuff to keep GTAO going. Though I feel more so as a sense of a test bed for GTA6. Just an opinion I have on why R* isn’t fully releasing more info on GTA6. Feel they wanna work out certain details they may encounter. Even if 6 is “on track” we may not know until initial launch.

I feel like unless they give gta on consoles keyboard and mouse support, then fivem being on consoles is not going to be possible at even close to the same level that is possible on pc. Feature availability will be severely gutted a lot of the custom systems and mechanics require the use of K&M.

I think the best way to keep GTA Online alive is pretty much add a Mission Maker in the Creative Mode. That way we as the players can keep the content fresh for years to come until they decide to shut the servers down. There is a Public Mission Creator in the files since the Bottom Dollar Bounties update and that update gave us the ability to make our own Drift and Drag Races. So far from what I have seen in terms of Creative Mode for the Agents of Sabotage update, we can make HSW Races, but knowing them... the extent of the new features to that mode is still getting added via Drip Feed. March would probably be a good time to announce it as a feature if that is happening. The only big update after Agents of Sabotage I would wish to see is that Summer 2025 is the Michael themed update. Tie up the loose ends, end with a bang and we go to GTA VI.

i think that file is more them testing something, realize it can't work, forget about it, besides modders we're making missions long before this, by well yknow modding it. Hell if multiplayer is the concern, FiveM is there!

Finally a vid that does not imply that as soon as GTA6 is released the current online is dead. A lot of vids on this topic seem to forget that PC players will be waiting around at least a year longer for GTA6. Then there's other factors to figure in for starters I've heard via youtube that when the current online was released there was a lack of content compared to current. Now the story mode for GTA6 is going to be packed but the online version it feels people have the hopes up too high because Rockstar would not be smart to release all their ideas at the start without saving some for future dlcs. I could list a few more reasons but keeping comment short and sweet 😜

GTA 6 will be added to online. GTA online itself isn't going to die. GTA online is not GTA 5. GTA online is the base for future online games. They are not going to make a GTAO2

GTA:O is GTA 5, and you can't just transfer games like CS2, you'd need to overhaul all of GTA 5 for that.
