Weird Vehicles That Were Added For No Reason…

Tons of strange vehicles are in GTAO, today I show you five, (in no particular order) that I think stand out a bit.

2:10 The voltic was introduced back in 2013 in the original singleplayer game, it was never "added" within any Online update. So when you're saying "Rockstar decided to add the Tesla Roadster" and then "no one wanted this" it simply doesn't make sense. Rockstar Games never had a community feedback during the development of the game which took place in the late to early 2010s. Additionally, the vehicle already had made its debut and its history/reputation since it was produced between 2008 and 2012 so it makes perfect sense to have this vehicle in a Southern California game developped/polished and set in the early 2010s.

ZR380 (Because players would love a stock Impala besides the Arena version, but a stock 350Z? Nah... A little armor plating won't bother anyone...) Astron Custom (People want a widebody Charger? Nah... Let's give 'em a widebody Macan instead...) Dominator GTX (Let's bastardize one of the most relevant vehicles we're gonna add...) Warrener HKR (A 2 door 1st gen GT-R? Nope. Let's make a pickup instead.) Baller ST (Because apparently we don't have enough Range Rovers.) Gauntlet Custom (Why the f*** would you make a Charger Daytona out a Challenger??? Damn thing looks like a cheap replica...) Weaponized Ignus (Because screw you if you bought the stock one.)

The comet safari is a real vehicle it’s an off-road spec 930 there is one in the forza five intro the astron custom isn’t just a wide body it’s the Macan turbo which is Porche’s best performance SUV The Warrener HKR is a Datsun sunny Pick up hakatoura which was a legendary Japanese pick up truck that was seen drifting The Plymouth road runner coming from a challenger is due to the fact that the real car is very very rare and people wanted one so the used a car that looked similar which happen to be the challenger Maybe instead of ripping on vehicles take time to research the vehicle and maybe you might find something interesting Rockstar makes comments on culture and brings not so well known cars to bear The cars I mentioned are all cool vehicles

@@michaelblevins1651 Some interesting points you have here. 1. I'm happy for everyone who wanted a 930 Safari. You know who I can't be happy for? Everyone, and that's a lot of people, who wanted a CLEAN 930/964. That is... No widebody and no lift kit. AND, I hope I didn't need to point this out, but R* added the Comet Safari way before FH5 was even revealed. 2. Same case with the Warrener HKR. YES, the Hakotora is great, but what is it, exactly? It's a Datsun Sunny Truck with the front end from a 2000 GT-R. You know, the car we still don't have a proper version of. 3. Correction. The Astron Custom isn't based on the Macan GTS. It's based on a Macan with a Hamann bodykit, a.k.a. a car Porsche doesn't even make. And no, even by the time the Astron Custom was released, the fastest Porsche SUV was the Cayenne Turbo GT. 4. I'll be honest, I don't know what you are trying to say here. People DO replicate Daytonas/Superbirds using Challengers, but they use modern Challengers, not 70s ones. And when they came out in the 70s, Daytonas and Superbirds were anything but desirable. In fact, dealers would remove the aero parts from them to make them look more like conventional Chargers and Roadrunners because nobody would buy them. I will take your advice and try and appreciate it when R* acknowledges a car culture that's not very well known. But to you I suggest to think twice before praising R* with a straight face when they are obviously trolling :)

Fun fact, the Faggio Sport is an engined vehicle and it's not based off a Vespa at all, it's a bike you can get in the UK and France made by Peugeot, called the Speedfight 2.. In real life they're actually very fun scooters and a very well loved among modern scooter enthusiasts for its tunability with companies like Stage6 or like Yamaha did with the Aerox YQ.. These were either 49, 69 or a 100cc "race varient in black and orange".. You'd think if they wanted a modern Faggio you'd go for the new Vespa or along the lines of the Sym Jet. 😂 I see why they picked the Speedfight though, in late 2010 a viral video of one launching a merry-go-round and slingshotting a person about 50ft put it on the map.. Funny to see such a scooter in game.. Proof Rockstar are always watching

The custom Weevil isn't an off road vehicle, or ever intended as one: Its a hot rod hard-top drag racer! That's why its fast but the handling is bad.

I believe the Weevil custom is more related to hot rod custom style instead of off road. It's clearly not his intention to be an off roader, specially because of the ride height, even if it has some custom parts made for off road, he is a hot rod. The best "Weevil" off road would be the Injection. So for that reason I believe he shouldn't be added to the list on this video man. But besides that, great video man, I believe your channel will grow with this type of content.

If you must know, the Weevil Custom was actually not added with the purpose of an off-roader. We have the Injection for that. Also, the reason it has off-road customization parts, if any, is because they were carried over from the regular Weevil and the Injection, as Rockstar always loves copypasting parts from existing similar cars. The Weevil Custom is actually based off of a custom irl rat rod restomod Beetle which are usually dragsters, hence the chopped roof and the super low ride height and open wheels. All in all, I wouldn't really call it a weird car at all, and performance wise, it's one of the best and fastest muscle cars you can get, which is actually insane considering the fact that the normal Weevil is one of the worst performing compact cars and rightly so, arguably, because the Beetle was never a fast car.

@4:40 your gripe is misplaced as that Weevil definitely has more of a Baja setup as opposed to Off-road. It's not meant to crawl on rocks, it's built to maintain extreme speed across mixed surfaces. Think Bonneville Salt Flats, that is what that car was built for.

Back in the beginning days of GTA V online no one used the voltic and it was the goat in races, average GTA racer would just speed into corners and smash the walls so this little thing wasn't the fastest but you could ease off and it's acceleration put the corner would have you winning

The benny weevle gets swapped to muscle class as its ment to be a rat rod. The other side of the hippy coin cuz of the dw dlc. English dave will give ya one free after doing his missions that start after you done cayo (interesting to me, random well CEO cayo dave missions replace night club dave missions that are simply random with no over all reward as far as I know) The most bizzar ride imo is the aqua blazer. I wanted the Rebla from GTA IV, though. This one is still okay. The Weevil custom does look weird, I have to admit. But I still prefer the original one, our beloved Bochito. Get your facts together, man. The first one's a Rhinehart, not Rebla. BMW builds a M3 Touring now, code G81, from the same generation. The one in-game is pre-facelift, of course, but it was launched after (October 2022) the real car launch (June 2022). And we all know that Rockstar can make a model pretty quickly, just look at the new Buffalo EV. Also, the car was already confirmed since 2021. The Rhinehart also is the 2nd best at the saloons category, and you freaking said it's not good for its class, come on! The Tesla Roadster was a hit at the time, nobody bought it, but people talked a lot about it. It's a fine piece from 2013, fitting perfectly in the streets of a fictional LA. The Faggio sport is not electric, it even has an exhaust The Weevil custom is dumb and really doesn't make sense why it has the highest top speed of non-hsw cars. The Slam truck is hideous. The dumbest vehicle made in the series.
