Very professionally done. Very informative and to the point. It's just so much to digest what dependents are entitled to I didn't know that they had that much entitlement😀. Thumbs Up video and like a convoy keep on rolling these videos out!

YES! We need "layman's Info"! With as much that is spoken to you, when applying for benefits, or just asking question's. And, we can't think of them all, it comes in increments, trial and error, not being told simply. Long timer's, sort like me, I schooled myself a lot, read and read. Or, was lucky enough to talk to the caring people I encountered at times. Anyway, I'm compelled to spread the word, when time allows! Good luck all you fellow Veteran's. If I can answer some of the MUK and MIRE of it all, I will try. Don't know if I just that spelled it right.

Jan fan thank you so much I see you're well-versed in the VA knowledge of law so maybe I can ask you this question if you don't mind? What can you tell me in as much detail as reasonably possible about the fully developed claim program the FDC. Do you have any knowledge or can you share what knowledge you have about the fully developed claim? Thank you for your time.

Regarding caregiver: “As of this year phasing in 1975 and after” looked up on VA websites, as expected, not mentioned. can you give more detail on effective dates mentioned. Thanks again.
@godschosen79034 жыл бұрын
VETERAN'S CAREGIVER PROGRAM: PCAFC Site. Veteran has to have at least 70% to 100%. Started this October, 2020. Was to be opened later, but, someone decided to expand this to the year-1975 and earlier. My husband was in 1956-1957. 82 now. I'm 68 and still able to care for him. It starts with a PHONE call, after you fill out a small bit of Info on that site. They then get ahold of you! Ask a variety of question's, only to call you again, with question's, of you and your spouse. Caregiver can be Related, Spouse, that I know of so far. ONE caregiver(primary), is assigned, and if approved! Depends too, how much of a disabled person your caring for, like some limitations on that person, would have less hours given or FULL ON LIMITATIONS, where you do it all for that Veteran. If approved, they give you "Hours", that gives you your STIPHEND/PAY. Plus many other helpful resources for the family/veteran. For the Homemaker, another Program, help for them, getting a break! Hospice help too, at end of life care. So much to mention here.

@keylamorris43342 жыл бұрын
Obviously that doesn’t answer what I was asking. 85% is what I was told by the father. He is not honest about things majority of the time, which is why I’m asking questions to someone who may know. I would like to know if my daughter, who will be 18 later this year is eligible for any benefits since her father is receiving benefits for PTSD for years now. He has paid nothing other than his child support every month since she was 5, and that amount has been the same since then. Anyone know any information?

I just made it to 100% total and permanent last November. I was told by the va that since both my kids are using ch. 35 education benefits that I am no longer eligible for the dependency compensation for kids 18 and older in school full time. As a matter of fact they removed them as dependents on my compensation and claimed I had a debt for over payment. On the paychart it has a spot for 100% with children then a spot for each child 18 and over in school. Is anyone else still being paid extra at 100% with college kids I can't find any information on this issue.
@patriciakohler71612 жыл бұрын
They told me the same thing, then when I refiled it they changed it again....so im confused on the matter. I was remarried and it had me go through each dependant whether I recieved compensation or not, I put in the right info and I now recieve compensation again. I pray they didn't screw up and give it to where in the future I'll owe more money lol
@jshauntah2 жыл бұрын
@@patriciakohler7161 Yes, it very confusing. Why have a compensation benefit amount for kids in college if they know they will be using chapter 35. Not only that why is their no information on the paychart stating that the veteran no longer rates the dependency pay if your child begins to use chapter 35 benefits? I'm currently working with congress on an appeal issue I have so I will be asking them about this issue as well and I will definitely post my response.

@@A83-A83 If a child is meets the "helpless" criteria they may be eligible for VA benefits. If granted, the child would probably have a VA appointed fiduciary to control the use of the VA benefits. If this is not a VA benefits issues, then the VA does not deal with it.

@@evilload I'm in a complicated situation and it's confusing to me and he's using it to his advantage because he has people helping him pull the crap on me. Couple years back he got my child support cut because my son gets a portion of VA ssi benefits from his dad and a portion of ssi itself. And my ex told me hes claiming my son as a dependent and getting his money but doesn't tell me how much and doesn't give it to my son. Problem is every other month ive got ssi breathing down my neck saying my son is getting that money when he isn't and now they are cutting me off because of it and i have to prove my son doesn't get the benefits my ex is getting. Any any time i file with the VA for the help my ex pulls some bs and claims financial hardship. Last time he did that i got denied then he went and took his daughter from another relationship on a road trip to disney world. I'm beyond upset at this point. And im tired of the stress of it. @evilload3 жыл бұрын
Death pension? Do you mean Survivors Pension? If they were not married then the only way around that would be common-law marriage (bunch of stipulations with that). If you mean military retirement with SBP election, you can't elect SBP if you are not married (this has nothing to do with the VA).
