Vaa Vaathiyaar indeed means come on teacher. But Its a reference to a legendary tamil actor MGR (MG Ramachandran). People used to call him "Vaathiyaar" (teacher) in those days because of his social message based movies. In this teaser there are some secnes where people are imitating MGR's characters. (Also in the 2nd and 3rd poster. Every one else except karthi is in a character of an MGR movie). So i guess it is like a tribute movie in a way for MGR
