BJP has become a hopeless overconfident party. I would disagree with guest why didn't Amit Shah Ji gave a mouth shutting reply to the rumors of Yogi Ji being removed as CM. Because of people like him the top leadership is not criticized. BJP' s IT cell is bakwas. They have hired people who are lucky to be working with BJP anywhere else they would have been fired 2 months into the job. The BJP has only talked about POK at the end of tenure. They go on a sleep mode and wake up when elections are near. They can't even control or grill these big social media companies on misinformation. There are few reasons why bjp got this result 1 . This time there was no wave as because of madhyapradesh Gujrat & Rajasthan won on vidhansabha so the ground level karyakarta were very confident due to which there was no wave . 2 . Ticket declaration on many seat were very late due to which there was very less time for the candidate to do the prachar . 3. Timing of the election was not favorable due to extreme heat . 4. The slogon was also little overconfident 400 paar due to which many Hindu voters didn't went to vote . 5 . There was nothing new for the middle class offered by the bjp .

I am from gujarat. Earlier BJP workers use to sit since 6:30 -7:00 am on crossroads for guiding people to election booth and marking voting %. that on election day But I am noticing that since 2019 these tables is not being followed. Even this time in 2024 at 10 o clocks the table were getting unloaded from tempo. God knows whether volunteer came to attend or not. .. If they do this in Gujarat than you can image what will be the case elsewhere... Focus is less.. they have taken people for granted.

Really not liking Shantanu ji's analysis of UP elections post result. Considered as a close aise of Yogi ji, the kind of thought process he's presenting aims to just confuse the listener about the reasons. In this state we can absolutely forget about any resolution of the problems. And its not his fault, honestly it is just too soon to be commenting on it already. It has been just 6 days, analysis also needs time and reconnecting with the workers and other stakeholders. भैया अस्ल में समस्या उत्तर प्रदेश की यह है अभी कुछ दिन पहले नगरनिगम के चुनाव हुए थे और जिला पंचायत की उसमे जो बीजेपी के बहुत पुराने कार्यकर्ता जमीन से जुड़े थे उनको पार्टी अपना symbol ना देकर 10 लाख 20 लाख और जिला पंचायत के लिए 30 लाख से 50 लाख तक मे BSP की तरह टिकट उन्हों ने बेचा इनको पता था मोदी के नाम पर जीत जाएंगे हुआ भी ऐसा आज से 1 साल पहले जब ये सब चुनाव हुए तो 60% लोग जीत गये जिनको टिकट बेच दिया था और 40% हार गए इससे हुआ ये कि जीतने वाला दुबारा ground पर गया नहीं ओर पुराना कार्यकर्ता इनको मिला नहीं अटल जी के समय वाला इन्हों ने उत्तर प्रदेश में जहां जहां सीट नहीं बेची थी अपने कार्यकर्ताओं को टिकट दिया था वह लोग मेहनत करके जताए है 90% सीट Bjp वाले भी bsp की तरह विधायक और राज्य स्तर के कुछ बड़े नेता लोग खूब पैसा कमाया है मोदी योगी के नाम पर पता नहीं ये आदेश दिल्ली से था या लखनऊ पता कीजिए

Great discussion. Hope these are discussed in much greater detail within the party forum. One point which cannot be ignored is not changing enough candidates in UP as compared to other states.. this itself is evidence for Shah yogi tussle. This was evident during 2022 elections as well when the seats went down from 302 to 250. Most seats were lost in eastern UP that time too and this was ignored by central leadership.

BJP fielded lot of candidates from other parties just before elections. They completely ignored their own cadre which worked hard for last 10-20 yrs and gave tickets to outsiders having no emotional and personal relations with foot guards. Is the job of foot solder only to arrange chairs and agitation crowd. Your only motive is to win elections which means no value for members in many cases. Why should the person associated with BJP should not have aspirations to get tickets as everyone enters politics for same motive.

BJP lacks aggressiveness and its failure to effectively counter the narratives whereas opposition has not set any limits for themselves and howsoever lowly it tries to throw muck which sometimes sticks. As opposed to BJP the opposition cadre uses social media to highlight even smaller issues which shows discontent in public. BJP has to be highly street smart and not just show sophistication in language and attitude.

And one more issue like one India one rate of wheat was offered by FCi in open market which again negatively effected UP farmers and benefited non wheat producing state and many big companies year 23-24 so they should avoid this type of policy
