My uncle was shot dead in China war by his CO who had given wrong orders and my uncle wanted to report it to higher ups but later it was shown by army as suicide out of guilt for taking a wrong desicision by him. My father's ACR was spoiled by his CO because he stood by his NCO and CO was getting stuck in a negative situation result - he got stuck in his rank without promotion.The amount of corruption in forces is beyond imagination starting from supply depots to medicine purchase , canteen stores to everything and then it is stolen and sold in market and if one complains now a days they will post 10s of guards to harass you and restrict your movement in the name of security snd secrecy and to run their corrupt practices unhindered.

यह खरा खरा नंगा बेहद कड़वा सच है । काफी सैन्य अधिकारी भारतीय सैना के रावण की डिट्टो कौपी ही होते हैं या जंगली होते है, भारतीय सैनिक खरे, सरल व शूरवीर होते हैं, अधिकारी इनके सामने कौड़ी के नज़र आतै हैं । अधिकारी वर्ग को सैना मे अत्याचारी अहंकारी श्रेणी के आंग्रेज अफसरों जैसी मानसिकता बनाने की शिक्षा दी जाती है इसी वजह से सैन्य अधिकारी बेइन्तेहा नीच व गिरे हुए कहे जा सकते हैं ।

जिसने कभी आमने सामने की गोलावारी नही देखी होती है वह अगर डिवीजनल कमाडर वन जाये तो वह डिवीजनल कमाडर शत्रु सेना से मिलकर एक जूनियर अधिकारी का भविष्य खराब करता है कारण ब्रिटिश नियम कानून मैं सेना से 28 बर्ष सेवा उपरांत गत वर्ष ही सेवानवृित हुआ हूँ आज के जनरल की अपेक्षा दस बर्ष पूर्व के जनरल अधिक घंमड़ी थे देशवासीयो का आभारी हूं जिन्होने सही सरकार चुनी . परन्तु अब भी ऐसे अधिकारी हैं सेना में जिन्होने आमने सामने की गोलावारी का सामना नही किया है वह अपने सैनिको का दुख तकलीफ़ नही समझते वड़े खेद का विषय है एक होनहार अधिकारी का भविष्य उस नालायक मेजर जनरल ने खराब किया कीड़े पड़े उसको ओर उसकी कमाई खाने वालो को

Yeah i have also observed that many young officers till Major leave the army after completing tenure of Major because of the hierarchical promotions in the Army as for the promotion you need to do chamchagiri and most officers don't want to that's why they leave and specially they are of Special Forces.

I think it's a generation thing. in india Men who are currently 45+ years old exploit young men more than anyone else....they r the generation to that keep blabbering about 'respect seniors respect..blah blah'...and their meaning of respect is keep Bowing down to us. Younger age men 35 or less are much more competent as well as not exploiting types.

जहा तक मैने भी इंटरव्यू सुने है उन सबसे एक बात तो साफ होती है को कारगिल में सबसे बड़ी गलती उपरी स्तर के अफसरों की थी और उन्होंने अपनी गलती छुपाने के लिए वो सब किया जो उन्हें सही लगा। इसी कारण 527 सैनिकों को जान गवानी पड़ी। ओर उससे भी बड़ी बात ये की उन अधिकारियों ने वापस कब्जा करने में भी जल्दबाजी करी थी ये में नही बहुत से इंटरव्यू में सेना से जुड़े हुए लोगो ने ही कही है।

इ have served with Indian Army for more than 33 years as a General and Staff Duty Clerk. Officers commanded had ordered to me to prepare offence reports under section 63 of Army Act, Regulations for the Army, more than 10,000/- of Jawans for a mistakes which could be overlook or avoid. Either This section should be deleted or should be make changes with specify mistake did by Jawans.
