really glad that the most mid decks from the most recent deck build pack, memento and vaalmonica, got added with both a: their LEDE support in their initial launch, and b. Made pretty cheap in the UR department, making them a lot easier to build

Since it’s so cheap to build (not even going all out with stuff like Electrumite and Beyond the Pendulum), this might be my first pendulum deck I’m going to make on master duel! Good showcase! Sure it may not be top tier, but it’s a fun control strategy!

You really don't need Electrumite or Beyond in this deck. You don't benefit from them. All you might need is Exceed, which is in the same pack as Vaalmonica. So it works out!

sadly the scales for vaal are very restrictive which makes normal pend cards kinda not that useful esp since u need to run like 12 vaal spell cards. honestly the slightly stronger variant of the deck shld run super poly

I really like spell absorption in this deck. It's definitely not needed, but gaining 500lp per spell played just means you can pay lp, gain a resonance, then immediately heal to gain another. Or heal twice if you choose those options. Just makes the counter resource management something you don't have to think about, since as long as you keep three darks on there, the light ones just pile up infinitely.

I'm honestly surprised it's doing so well. The deck is incredibly fragile and vulnerable to disruption in the TCG. I guess in Master Duel people are either not reading the cards or hanging on to ash for the maxx c.

You can use 'Both Effects' to get the tokens even if you aren't going to pop a spell card, the pop and spin aren't mandatory for the LP gain/loss.

As someone whos played the deck the only change I might suggest is adding abyss dweller as opposed to 2 bagooska (I have it crafted from tear format) but if you dont have the ur then 2 bagooska is still pretty cool tbh

really fun deck, fun gimmicks and fair interactions. although because it's such a fair deck, people gloss it over as mid (not entirely wrong honestly), and it leads to the vaalmonica players stealing quick wins bc of how much the deck is underestimated (flashbacks to it getting tops in master duel community tournaments) overall it's nice that they got some of their support early in master duel. people forgot that selettrice, invitare and disarmonia were the deck's 1st wave of support. it'll only get better for the deck from here on out. the fiendsmith engine works incredibly well with the deck, and the 2nd wave's continuous trap allows them to set up 3 counters much easier. it's a good deck to invest to considering how it'll get better in the future, but it'll still remain low tier/rogue at best even if konami kills snake-eyes. but again, given how complicated the deck looks, you can get some cheap wins out of it, especially in a bo1 format that master duel is in.

Well, in my case its more expensive than the fire king snake-eye deck since i had to craft 2 of the main deck monster (60 UR) and only 1 of the fire king monsters (30 UR)😂 Cause i pulled all the other stuff needed for that, but only 1 of the Vaal UR🤣🙈 With 12k gems btw😂

It's literally not cheap, something cheap would be Dragon Maid (structure deck), World Legacy (you get most cards from solo mode), Salamangreat (also structure deck), Galaxy eyes (again, structure deck) and practically abything were you don't have to craft much.
