I've seen this place in person, & it is truly worth it. In fact the price is a real steal for everything that you get there! Great for two couples.

So perfect. I, too would live on the porch. It sure has grown up a LOT since this video was shot. Amazing. Gorgeous gardens.

My family and another couple stayed here for two nights back in March. The view of the volcano was awesome! Spent a lot of time just relaxing on the back porch watching the humming birds and other species of birds such as Toucans. I recommend this place to anybody that visits Costa Rica. Price was reasonable, especially if you share with another couple. Michael and D'Angelo were very cool and honest guys who gave us many suggestions as far as what to do and see in the La Fortuna area.

We were here last week and for anybody planning to do anything around La Fortuna this is the place to be! Mike and D'Angelo are great! they met us in town and escorted us to the house then answered all of our questions and gave a new meaning to the phrase "mi casa es su casa" This place is close to everything you want to do in La Fortuna and the house itself is amazing the back porch is an excursion in itself. Mike wasn't joking the Japanese toilet seat is reason enough to stay here!

Hey guys, Glad to see you have a place to rent. I have no specific comment on this video, but I have to tell you, that by far you have the best and most informative videos about Costa Rica on the web. My wife and I spent 2 weeks on the west coast and are planning to stay for a month in Feb. 2014. Your videos helped us tremendously in what our expectations should be as we spend more time there. I just wanted to commend you guys for your honest, straight forward advice.

Hi guys, great job, the place looks fanastic. when my BF and I come see you will have to bring you a nice house warm gift. I think everyone would love to stay there and just take a break from life, relax and lower your blood pressure with a peaceful setting with the most amezing views of the volcano. I take it, you found out where the water shut off valve was jejejeje. Job well done and see you guys in 3 weeks and buena suerte, tus amigos Paul y Daniel.

Just finished booking our Honeymoon for next February/March. 10 days, rental car, San Jose-El Castillo-Quepos for the two of us AND our very adventurous dog. We're excited to see and experience Costa Rica and get to know the people and places up close and I owe a lot of that to you. Thanks for the amazing content.

I love this. This is a lot like the Big Island of Hawaii, where I live. I wanna come! I lived several years in Mexico many years ago, am fluent in Spanish. I'm fascinated there are places in Costa Rica which are rural, yet sophisticated, because in the old days in Mexico, you had to live in a city to have any comforts of civilization at all. The Arenal community sounds absolutely perfect!

Well, I did google it and I showed Jason. He's going crazy and It still isn't definite that we're going anywhere but the hope (maybe a dream) is that we will spend a month in Panama and Costa Rica. I already lost one of the boys to football. Seems that's more important than an awesome vacation in Central America. Since his brother John won't be coming he's going to ask his buddy James to take his place. Those two will definitely be fishing. While they fish I'll just go about looking for sexy little old men for this crazy old lady to have fun with.

its a 2 bedroom rental. It already implies there will be 3-4 people staying. But you want to charge another 30$ to make that place 160$ a nite??? You are suppose to be helping tourists find affordable accommodations from trust worthy owners. I started to watch your videos in the last week to help plan a possible retirement house, gated community, buy or sell or rent all that stuff. I saw a few great ones yesterday HOWEVER most of the posts are over 3 yrs old and questions are not even answered by yourselves. Then I watch this one and felt very disappointed with the price point adding $$ for over 2 people in a 2 bedroom!!! Not right. Im sorry. but we feel that if you are doing these videos to help xpats then all your info needs to be updated every 6 mths at least. If this is the price of your cabin 4 years ago, I shudder at the thought what you are charging now in 2018. ALSO the path to the river or stream is no longer there. Thats a big selling feature and now its gone. How about clearing all that brush up so you can offer that perk with the cost.? Makes sense? yes? Also AC should be in every room of the house just to keep the humidity at bay itself. It never reaches 80 degrees? Try to sleep in a room that is 80 degrees. Impossible, Fans should be supplied as well if you have not done so. The individual room air conditioners are not that expensive when your charging that much $ per nite and then increase exponentially in high season. When will you be abler to update this blog to 2018 so costs, roads, construction, xpat information etc are current? \
