This was an absolute brilliant version!! Brings me to tears every time! The “I promise you I will learn from my mistakes” more specifically has a very deep meaning to me. I was a bad drug addict for a long time. Just couldn’t get over it. Was married, had an amazing wife / life. Eventually a daughter but threw it all away. Finally cleaned up myself and life. Have repaired every broken relationship in my life. But it was touch for my ex as it should have been. I’m finally the person I should have been and it’s too late. I finally learned from my mistakes, people can change but sometimes it’s too late.

@@pinnacleexpress420 Different key, adding the first verse lyric into the background of the 'tears stream' bridge area, the absence of an organ and doubled up guitars instead, percussion entering the chat during the first verse when the original does not have percussion until the bridge, which alone turns up the rock factor substantially, the pop punk vocal and flourishes. It's a great homage, so I see why you're saying what you are. Just listen to them back to back. @@jackhopkins5956 Cody Fry's Fix You is the high water mark for me. His orchestration is just magnificent. I'm a sucker for those big, bombastic, Disney-esque movements. I find Jacob Collier's covers fun to jog alongside trying to keep up on the first few listens because his technical ability is always astonishing, but once I start being able to anticipate his movements because I've heard a given arrangement a few times, I don't feel a particular emotional connection. This probably all speaks to me being a relentless fucking luddite at heart, but I do love a good pop song. I'd take his "Time Alone With You" over his "Here Comes The Sun" any day of the week and the difference is one of them is working really, really hard to impress us and the other one is just a sick groove.

Now here's the most beautiful love story: Me and you? Though we have fallen short of the glory of God by comitting just one sin which we deserve death and hell for, the Good News is that God loved us so much that He, All-Powerful and All-Knowing Spirit came to earth in a human body as Jesus Christ, the fullness of God bodily, to live a perfect life keeping and fulfilling all laws and commandments, not sinning ONCE, and then sacrificing Himself on a cross for YOU! By shedding His Blood, He paid the penalty for your sin so that you could be washed clean from all sins and develop a personal relationship with God and spend eternity together with Him in Heaven. How awesome is that?! That's God's grace. All you have to do to accept His gift of grace is believe from your heart that Jesus is God, He shed His precious Blood for you and He is risen from the dead, He's in full control of your life that He rules over you. Don't trust in your own goodness but fully trust in Jesus and follow Him. It's not by works or being a good person, it's only by God's grace through faith in Him. Jesus desires a personal relationship with you. Much love and God bless you!
