@@StevenStGelais First off, "Opinion" doesn't necessarily mean "Fact"; something I learned in Elementary School. Second, Faith in finite-minded humans? Scientists are not gods, and to think otherwise is arrogance of the highest order! You can't glorify certain individuals in high society on such a level, because that will entrench in their sinful minds, making them prideful, and leads to tyranny. Such practice is not Science, It's paganism! It's cult-like! Science (I.E. Common Sense) is to admit that we as humans don't know everything, and we try to learn what we can in the world around us, logically. The Universe doesn't revolve around humanity, and any "Rules on how everything works" that we come up with. Do you realize that "Scientists" don't like the idea of Infinity? Like "Mass of a Black Hole" Infinity? Well then, when you talk about 3.1415 (Pi), as you write out all the decimals; at what point does that random bunch of numbers become 00000000 for the rest of time, thereby signifying an end of Pi? Scientists still don't know, even after millenia of studying that number. So, if we can't figure out all of Pi (Because we can't handle the concept of Infinity); how are we all-powerful, god-like beings, then? We are not! And therefore, what these scientists say on what must be true, or not true should always be taken with a grain of salt. That is Science! It's a very revolutionary field of study, because it (By nature) always uproots long-held traditions at any time. But, that is not always to be feared, as 200 years of Scientific advancements have given us so much in our world today. Still, to say that we must trust whatever people in labcoats say by their word is Anti-Science, Orwellian, and Peak Arrogance! That's it!

First of all it must be noted that autism ins't a static category. Not only do the terms change (from pervasive developmental disorder, Asperger syndrome, low-functioning autism, high functioning autism etc. to Autism Spectrum disorder (ASD)), but definitions change also (which determine whether or not a diagnosis of autism is applicable). Sometimes the definitions stay the same, but the threshold changes (prior, maybe you had to have 3 out of 5 symptoms for a diagnosis and afterwards it might be 2 out of 5 or 4 out of 5). I am not saying with certainty that this (whether at all or alone) might explain a rise in the diagnosis of autism, but the way a psychiatric condition is understood isn't always the same and thus, there is a slight possibility, that nowadays, just more people are "applicable" for a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder than maybe 50 years ago. One also has to factor in the amount of psychiatrists working now vs. in the past, and whether or not mental health services have gotten more accessible recently.

CGMe This study did not compare vacc'd versus unvacc'd children. That's what the article's title says it did, but actually, the "control" or "unvaccinated" group had several vaccines, just not the MMR. It's like taking a group of college kids at a party who've all had 11 shots of tequila, and then studying whether the 12th shot of alcohol, vodka, is linked to intoxication to prove that vodka is not linked to intoxication. The authors and financiers of the study are also rife with conflicts of interest.

In a study in Manitoba published in 2008, researchers found that children who delayed the DPT vaccine by 2 months developed asthma by age 7 at a rate of 6 per 100, versus 14 per 100 for children who vaccinated with DPT per the schedule

Perhaps it should have been called "The Homeland and Lilly Protection Act." Everyone in D.C., it seems, is utterly baffled as to how an ugly little provision shielding pharmaceutical behemoth Eli Lilly from billions in lawsuits filed by the parents of autistic children made its way, in the 12th hour, into, of all things, the 475-page Homeland Security bill.[1] "It's a mystery to us," shrugged Eli Lilly spokesman Rob Smith. It's a mystery to us, too, echoed spokesmen for the White House, the Department of Health and Human Services, and physician-turned-senator-turned-drug-company-shill Bill Frist, who had originally penned the Lilly-friendly provision for a different bill. The haphazard lawmaking also proved baffling for pharmaceutical industry lobbyists, and for White House budget director Mitch Daniels, a former Lilly executive, who made a very public show of disavowing any knowledge of the amendment's mystifying genesis.

Thanks for the advice, Jennifer; it's almost a little better than "Google it." However, I feel that when someone claims there is scientific evidence of a particular fact, i.e., "Vaccines cause autism," it is incumbent upon them to cite the study by author, title, journal and date of publication, right there and then, rather than suggesting that other people research the topic on their own.

@G P This research has specifically only been done from the CHC reporting that the CDC had such evidence rather than showing direct studies conducted directly by themselves. They have been disowned from the scientific community, (when Marianne Williamson who's a part of the CHC was reported and later confirmed lying (www.factcheck.org/2019/08/williamson-misleads-on-childrens-health-vaccines/) about the results she recieved about the increased rate of chronic illness in children that take vaccines and it's possible link to autism.) I'd also like to note that the CHC was founded by an auttorney and still to this day isn't lead by a chemical analyst or doctor.) The CHC in their reports about the dangers of 5G (childrenshealthdefense.org/news/what-you-should-know-about-5g-satellites-how-musks-sci-fi-dreams-are-becoming-our-living-nightmare/) (which the founder has directly supported and approved) claimed the FDA made no studies concerning the dangers of 5G, and it's radiation (which I know is far from Ionized radiation, even humans emit radiation) which is false. (www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/is-5g-dangerous) The CHC is also skeptical about the government and it's motivation with vaccines which has no resarch on vaccines but is used to discredit all other sources of information outside the CHC which is fishy, it's fine if they find some findings as to sketchy stuff the government might be doing but all of their propos directly relates to vaccines. (arstechnica.com/science/2020/04/how-the-anti-vaccine-community-is-responding-to-covid-19/). Do you have any other links not releated to the CHC, that is hopefully lead by a doctor?

I can't speak to the Wakefield case because I do not know enough about it. But I have to ask: In every vaccine there are adjuvents. These kick the immune system to react. Can that kick cause a reaction to other things besides the attenuated virus? Can it be causing the food allergies, asthma, breathing allergies and other immune problems? The only way to find out is to compare the unvaccinated against the vaccinated. That has never been done.

Just based on statistics your insistence on evidence (which you will most likely find fault with) is a bit strange. Every study and evidence put forward has been rejected by the people on your side of the debate. You are not looking for evidence. You are looking for a way to blame the victims.

In fact, if they were a significant cause, the rates should be going down as rates of vaccination go down. 2. It's strongly suspected if those changes go bad regression will result. 3 Some percentage

Heres more info on the wakefield issue, since people use that as a scapegoat for the whole anti vax movement, when It really isn't even on most parents radar. ~Andy Wakefield was one of 13 doctors who wrote the Lancet paper ~It was an exploratory case study of 12 children with severe gastrointestinal issues and nothing to do with autism ~Not all of the children had autism ~The study noted as part of the background history that some of the parents linked their children's severe gastrointestinal issues as onsetting after receiving the mmr ~The study mentions, in passing for context, some other studies that link health issues including autism to MMR ~The study states quite categorically that they proved no link between MMR and autism since it was an early exploratory study with a sample size far too small to represent the wider population. And it's not what they were looking for. ~The study concluded that it would be a good idea to do further research on the safety of the mmr in a one size fits all vaccination programme to see if there were some children who had conditions that caused the mmr to be problematic for them ~The study suggested that continuing with single jabs until further research could be done might be worth looking into instead of withdrawing single jabs in the UK which were still available until 1998 ~This study was 20 years ago why does it not strike her as strange that they have nothing else...did vaccine science just stop in the 1990s! ~You can bet your life that 99% of people sharing this urban myth about Andy Wakefield have not read the study ~Here is the study...! www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(97)11096-0/fulltext

Your cited figure of 0.1 µg/kg body weight/day is the EPA limit for methylmercury across an entire lifetime. Methylmercury is dangerous because it can rapidly accumulate inside the body (bioaccumulate). That's why it has such a low limit. Thimerosal metabolizes to ethylmercury, not methylmercury. Ethylmercury has not been found to bioaccumulate, but the methylmercury limit is used in absence of any data showing a limit for ethylmercury, and even still it does not exceed the methylmercury limit.

These children can be in the insufferable position of excruciating gut pain while muted by the autism. One lady I knew was holding her son during one of his gut spasms. It was so bad that her son threw his head back and cracked her rib! Her son was literally starving to death because of his bowel disease. She had to go to a number of GI specialists to find one who would take her seriously about her son's gut issues.

It is rare, but for certain vaccines it happens that some will get a mild outbreak of the disease one vaccinates against. This is inconvenient, but rarely a problem. The much larger problem is that vaccines will not give full protection in all cases, which means that a persons decision to not vaccinate will increase the risk of disease also for others, whether vaccinated or not. This should be given quite some weight when one discusses vaccination.

Much of the Pro-Vax PROPAGANDA regularly professes "A RARE" adverse vaccine disorder occurred. Well in consideration of the "RARE" 1%... the numbers below show that 1% of a 2 Billion population vaccinated with a potent vaccine still amounts to 20,000,000 (Twenty Million Vaccine-Injured), and 20 Million is FAR FROM "RARE" and very considerable. The following info applies to "ALL" types of JABS across the board including but not limited to: FLU shots HPV shots PEDIATRICIAN shots PNEUMOCOCCAL shots POLIO shots TETANUS shots CV-19 shots etc. shots Regarding Vaccine Placebo Ratios and Vaccine Potency Ratios Consider the following... 50% of JABS = Placebos... Harmless 20% of JABS = Mild Harm 20% of JABS = Med Harm 09% of JABS = High Harm 01% of JABS = Lethal Harm 8 Billion Population and 4 Billion received the CV-19 shots = 50% 2,000,000,000 received 50% of JABS = Placebos... That's a fallacious argument. When something can kill you, by human right to self defense, the choice is to be open, and not forced. Let's see, a vaccine that can kill or abstaining from a vaccine that can kill, which one is more risky ? Ask those who have been killed by vaccines. Oh wait, you can't ask them. Are you aware of the Roclerfeler foundation report (1969?) where they talk about using vaccines to control population size ? Are you aware of the SV40 aspect of vaccines today ? Aza Sothoth At least you seem to agree that there are "people in-charge of controlling human population". But I think you are jumping to a conclusion about the performance of those people before their actions have time to take full effect. The sterilization is generational such that by the time the masses realize the problem, it will be too late to do anything about it. In some experiments, lab rats become sterile by the third generation. In human terms, that's 60 years . . . so the full thrust of the human "experiment" is still in its first generation for the most part. Those people you say are doing an absolutely piss-poor job would tell you (as they smile at you) . . . ."Just give it time" You want grand kids ? Not to mention the faulty logic behind saying it would be "unethical" to compare vacc vs unvaccinated children.

Some percentage of people may have a bad reaction to vaccines and undergo some kind of severe brain damage as a result. This has been linked to mitochondrial disease. Only a small percentage of autistic kids have diagnosed mitochondrial disease. It may be that some parents are right, their kid got a vaccine and became autistic, due to some kind of sudden acute encephalopathy. But there does not seem to be much reason to think this is more than a small percentage of cases.

Hugely disappointing explanation. Did corrupt big pharma buy Khan institute as well? Perhaps khan institute is not up to date that the second Doctor co-authorizing the Wakefield study actually appealed all the way to the high courts and won the case that no malpractice had occurred in the "Wakefield Study" study and received his medical license back. As well, it was declared by the presiding judge that the Lancet paper authored by the Wakefield and 12 other prestigious researchers, should be re-published and that the entire Wakefield case had been handled unjustly. Andrew Wakefield has also since been vindicated scientifically by 6 independent research teams from different countries, all having been able to replicate Wakefield's findings, showing he was RIGHT to suggest that more research into links between autism, MMR and IBS is needed. Andrew Wakefield, produced a profound film, VAXXED, which has supported a huge wake up movement around the world. Highly educated doctors, chiropractors, health practitioners, mothers, fathers, are waking up to the reality that there is massive fraud being perpetrated in Big Pharma and government regulatory agencies. People are discovering that we MUST question the safety of vaccines.

Dr. AMY HOLMES: Mercury in thimerosal is stored in the gut, liver, and brain where it becomes very tightly bound to the cells. Once inside those cells, or inside the blood brain barrier, the mercury is reconverted back to its inorganic form. Locked into these cells, the mercury can then do either immediate cell damage or else become latent and cause the onset of autism, brain disorders, or digestive chaos years later. This is also linked to autoimuune disorders, like MS and Guillame Barre.
