A fantastic piece! For those who question the reasoning behind jalousie dials: it used to be (and for some it still is) considered as an act of courtesy and good manners to not have the time on display at social events, especially in the evening. The thinking behind it is simple: It shouldn't matter how late it is, what matters is only the person in front of you - and jalousie displays are one way to convey that message.

What a fascinating watch! I’ve never seen this model before. My new favorite Neo-Vintage timepiece. I believe JLC did something similar with their Reverso…pertaining to the shutter mechanism. Really nice! And it uses a Reverso movement too.

Tim, what an interesting watch design. Really more a piece of jewelry. However, what I wanted to see, and you did not show it, is how easy is it to read the time? If you still have the watch in-house, add a 15 second segment showing us the time.
