There’s a lot of good history about vacuum cleaners which my family probably did have before I came along

My Mom and my Grandma both had a Rexair Rainbow. It had a tank that you put water in to trap the dirt which you then had to empty.

How Africa could replace the old machine if it doesnt recognize the renaissance let alone the renewable? Has it occurred to any one the question, are there some towns in Africa where vacuum cleaner is not yet known in on 21st century?

I loved seeing all of the machines in this video. Particularly the Airways and Electroluxes. I have 11 Luxes, the LX is my favorite. Why don't all vacuums eject their bag?

Hey thanks for watching. As you can see from the channel I go to obscure Museums and places but the Vacuum Cleaner Museum was outstanding. You can tell by how long it was.

I'd love to visit there somebody. There's some seriously cool stuff for sure! I've got too many things going on to get into vacuums right now, but I do have a 1930s-40s Electrolux cannister style vacuum I'll try to restore soon. Got it for free about a year ago and just haven't done much with it yet. I've also got one from the 70s or so which will need work as well. Was r2d2 really based off a vacuum too?!? If so that's hilarious!

Yep true story about R2D2. Thanks for watching. I typically do as much research as practical for my videos so I did verify the fact.

@@carlithebikerguy3873 My Mom had a Rexair Rainbow (the one that was the inspiration for R2D2) in the mid-60's. They were like $400.00 which is even a lot of money today and they sounded like a jet taking off. The interesting thing about the Rexair was that it didn't have a bag that the dust went in. There was a pan which you put water in, and when you turned it on it was like a whirlpool and the dust was captured by the water. It had many attachments, and you could put perfume in the water to make the house smell nice.

@@carlithebikerguy3873 My Grandma had an Electrolux, too. Ice Blue and the hose was very thick cloth. When I was just a little shaver my Mom and Dad both worked, so I spent the day with Grandma. When she would get the Electrolux out, they tell me I would say, "No beeper, no beeper!" I didn't like sweepers, but I did like washing machines. My Grandma had a 1957 Lady Kenmore. It had a stainless steel tub and a purple fluorescent tube around the top where you put the clothes in. I guess it was there to keep the microorganisms in check. It was a surreal experience. Those were the days when you could run a washing machine with the lid open. I would stand on a small stool and watch the clothes go around. I can still remember how It sounded. Lady Kenmore had a different transmission than all the other washers. WHOOSH whoosh. WHOOSH whoosh. And Grandma's fridge had the coldest milk ever!
