Vacuum Packing Quilts to Save Space, Using Household Supplies.

This is such a great skill. Since I learned it last year I've needed and used it many times. How did I make things work before? I don't even know. Not well. Now, this technique has been so great to know that I wanted to make sure you knew about it too!

Great idea! If clear trash bags are difficult to find, look for trash compactor bags.

I don't remember. I threw the packaging away. I bought them at Sam's club. Strong, not stretchy, and I like them clear.

Great idea, yes, but I’d be a little concerned about how the receiver would be opening this really tight packed quilt. I usually use a knife to cut my boxes open & would be afraid the quilt would be cut

I’ve done it, I found I had to wash and dry it at the other end. The quilt does not puff up the same way when I take it out of the plastic bags
