My very first quilt was a log cabin. I love it. I hand quilted it and learned to sew in it. There are so many mistakes in it but I don’t care it’s mine. Oh and it took me 15 years to complete it. Lol

I've watched a lot of your videos. Today, KZbin suggested wonky log cabin & I was "meh" but then I saw that it was your video & watched it anyway. I love your attitude and how you show the picking fabrics, using scraps, and adding in weirdos. I do that too in my quilts.

I really like your choices of blues, aqua, some navy, purplish blues, etc. I tend to go more matchy-matchy and they just don’t always sparkle because the fabrics don’t always contrast enough. My favorite quilts are log cabin variations and have made 7. Thank you for this tutorial. Blues & pastels are my favs. ❤

@@merrymabelmarket I love your videos! Last evening I binge watched quite a few of your videos. Many I had watched before. You are one of my top 3 content creators. Keep sharing your creativity with us because your videos are really good. Your voice is soothing like you are showing a friend how you make things. I like crumb quilting and enjoyed you showing us (even though I sometimes make crumb blocks myself). I also really enjoy color. Thanks again!

Once again - a fun and informative tutorial! Beautifully done. Another thing I am excited to try. I am still working my way through your longarm quilting tutorials and am pleased to have used several things I learned recently in grandchild and charity quilts. Feathers still elude me. But some day I will get there! Thank you!
@merrymabelmarket Жыл бұрын
Feathers took me awhile too. That is actually when I designed the wonky feathers. Regular feathers were tricky to learn for me. I did learn them and love to do them now. But, the wonky feathers are just so happy and free, that I do them often.
