Vacuum Tire Repair Nail Kit

Vacuum tire repair nail kit demonstration. This tubeless tire repair kit is designed for emergency puncture repairs on cars, motorcycles and other vehicles. This small tire repair screw is for repairing a 1mm to 3mm hole and the larger size screw is for repairing 3mm to 5mm holes. Use the small one if your car or motorcycle tire is punctured with a small & thin nail. If the nail is larger, then use the bigger size. In this video I am only demonstrating how to use the repair kit. I am not endorsing or recommending the use of the kit as a permanent tire repair. these screws are very good i used two times with rubber glue on them and it take 5 minites to fix tyre after removing nail,screws are two sizes small and large you must have them because some time nail size is bigger.90% you dont need to remove tyre,these screws are good to used by old men and women,if you are young then use rubber plugs they are batter then screws and most important thing is you must have air compressor in you car

I have some in my saddle bag along with a bicycle pump about 5 inches long. I figured I can get enough air in it to get home. My last set of tires on my Harley I got a bolt in the back tire. When I put the new ones on I made my spoke wheels tubeless with 3M marine 5200. Now I can plug instead of patching the tube. Last one I slimmed the tube and it lasted until I changed them. Didn’t want to go 80mph on slime.

I try Sticky cord, mushroom plug and this small screw is the best (for small nails and screws). As easy as you see in the video, 4 month past and still no leaks. Small wonder

This works fine guys, but keep in mind, this is ONLY A TEMPORARY fix. As soon as you can have access to a tire shop you should fix the tire properly

Thats ok for a quick fix and it might get you home or a shop to patch it. I will probably get a pack to put in the glovebox.

I wouldn’t use this on a car tire but a lawnmower or atv tire, I think it will last longer and be more effective than a standard rubber plug. I assume they come in larger sizes as well in case you run over a larger object and get a bigger hole. The advantage of this over your standard rubber plug is the plug uses adhesive to work, not always effective in a dirty environment.

As long as you are not using it for racing or drifting your cars, it will work just fine. This is for a 'common' cars used in or between cities with asphalt road.

Anyone who has used a tire plug knows that they have issues of their own but they aren't going to be a road hazard when they fail. They are a bit annoying to use but they work; so there is practically no need for these in the first place.

I just ordered some. I don't think If you drove over these that they would stick in your tyre. The rubber outer of the screw is to grippy the screw would bounce off/out. Also the screw is stubby, very short. That combined with the grippy rubber, it would be very hard to pierce the tyre.

I took the idea and wrapped part of string of tyre repair sticky string and it plugged the hole leak proof. I just need to see how long it lasts. 😐 ×××one month passed. Still holding air. No leaks.

My car doesn't have a jack or spare tire. I keep a compressor and sticky repair kit in the trunk. But sometimes it's hard to fix with the tire on the car. I just bought a pack of 100 with a stubby screwdriver to keep in the trunk. Hopefully I never have to use it.

A quick old tip from DIY bicycle repairs : A good old large saliva spit on the whole to check if there's still an air leak or not :) For the kit it self, I t cost nothing to have some of these tools proactively in your car

It’s basically like taking a regular screw and putting a rubber gasket over it to seal it. Normal screws aren’t meant to be airtight, they’re just meant to be fasteners. They hold things together but if you want the bond to be airtight, like say on a roof, you need to apply some sort of sealant over the screw. And that would only work if it doesn’t move. A moving object like a tire would chip that off pretty quickly. The seal needs to be inside the tire.

I also see it. I ride a Honda Goldwing. The last thing I need is a little rubber screw popping out at 60 miles per hour on the highway. Plugs then replace the tire asap for motorcycles. This system is inadequate for highway vehicles.

Two days ago, I had a real situation with a screw puncture. I fixed it with this repair screw and drove then 750 km, mainly with 130 km/h, momentarily even up to 155 km/h. The screw worked fine, no problem by now. Just for the record: why not fixing it otherwise? Because I was abroad, not understanding the language, and I hat to reach a meeting in time. The repair took me 10 minutes.
