The disney one is a bit more chunky. It feels bad for me because I usually hold a medieval sword which had oval grip or diagonal section. You'll prefer another if you're uncomfortable(even when the prices gonna take much more).

I watch you videos all the time. Sometimes several times. It's refreshing to see someone so passionate about things I love. It's also nice to see the world before it broke about a month after this video. Kylo Ren is my favorite Saber. So unique with its own origin story and isn't just a copy of another with a different color. The sound and light are even unique and scary. I'm jealous of your collection.

there is also SaberForge and Ultrasabers but Ultrasabers is far less accurate to movies but also the cheapest

Wow. It's just amazing to me how technology has advanced since the OT began in 1977 (I was in my early 20's then). The light sabers they sold then didn't make any sound, the saber was just a cheap colored-plastic tube lit by a standard flashlight bulb, and it was up to your imagination to make them realistic. But they cost maybe 10 bucks, lol. Always enjoy your videos and since Santa brought me a 4K UHD TV I'm always on the prowl for videos that make it look good. Happy New Year to you, and all the best in 2020 to you and your viewers.

The added movement-to-sound quality of the Vader's Vault blows away the Disney saber, which is nice but doesn't compare at all with regards to that sound quality, or even the quality of prop detail. Simply incredible.

Having both the Disney GE and the Force FX Elite versions of Kylo's crossguard, I can say that the VV version easily blows away the other two. However, since it *starts* at $899 (and is currently sold out) it had better, since it's several hundred dollars more than either of the other options. But damn, the smooth swing feature and enhanced brightness are so awesome!

This lightsaber is incredibly awesome. I was just watching Solo and found Easter eggs to galxy's edge. Qi'ra can be heard asking about dok ondar on Dryden vos' ship and L3 brags to lando about how he couldn't make it to blackspire without her.

The only problem is that the custom lightsaber doesn't have as long of a gap between ignition of the main blade and the crossguards as the Disney Legacy Lightsaber. After watching the last 3 films (VII-IX) The Legacy is more accurate as far as ignition goes, but everything else is more realistic on the Vader's Vault custom lightsaber. The hilt, the size, the weathering, EVERYTHING!!!!!

I have this exact saber from Vader's Vault and I have to say that it is my favorite of my collection. I currently have 3 Ultrasabers, 1 FX saber, 1 Vader's Vault and my custom saber from Savy's workshop. The electronics of the Vader's Vault saber is far superior to the Disney sabers. The smooth swing to me is what makes it so good. The biggest disappointment of the Disney saber is how unresponsive it is when you swing it. All of my other sabers are way more responsive. I do like the kyber crystal function of the Disney saber and the quality of the hilt is very nice as well. The Disney blade is pretty decent due to the fact it quickly detaches and has LED inside the blade unlike my Ultrasabers. But the Disney saber is not very bright compared to by Vader's Valet and UltraSabers. Similar brightness to Hasbro FX Saber. Would I spend this much money on a saber again? Probably not.... If you are a person who doesn't really play with the saber much and it's just a shelf piece, then the Disney saber is the way to go. If you want the most realistic sounds, smooth swing and looks, then Vader Vault IMO......UltraSabers are great for battling because the blades don't have LEDs inside and the overall quality of the saber is decent.... mid grade saber..... The Hasbro FX sabers are fun too....pretty screen accurate but the blade does not detach so if you break it by dueling, it's probably done. The FX saber also has LEDs in the blade, not super bright and no color or sound changing abilities.

That's the whole idea. Kylo Ren was still Ben Solo, and a Jedi Padawan when he assembled this hilt. It's supposed to look like a child put it together

Still prefer the disney saber, the cross blades activate a little bit more slowly which seems accurate and thr colour looks good, the custom one almost looks orange
