Morbid reich has my favourite drumming ever, he slays even without effects. It's a shame it sounds like he has a mistriggering ride on this.

No cóż był jednym z najlepszych- RIP.

One of my first metal concerts in 2000 right after Litany came out. Got the opportunity to see Doc play twice back in a small club in St. Louis. Definitely my drumming inspiration and the reason I wanted to be a drummer was the triplets on Sothis.

From Metal Mania 2003, I have the dvd. Simon on bass. And THE Man on drums "DOC"... One of the best drummers Ever. His power and intensity, He didn't follow trends, He created them. The way he broke up the double Bass , instead of just rolling it... Ruled. R.I.P... And Peter, The Frontman. That Voice, That Guitar playing, Song writing etc... And Mauser... My Fave lineup. And yet, Every line up Peter puts together is great. The Man Is Genius. Get the DVD "Night of the Apocalypse". Same time period plus stuff with Novy on bass !

@mark-wt4ve8 жыл бұрын
***** Lombardo Docent czy inny Chris Adler wszyscy zagraja a raczej zagraliby to samo bez problemu.

I remeber Krystof "Doc" with Vader live in Ljubljana town, club K4 in 2000 year, they performed with Monstrosity. After Monstrosity show i said to Tony how good they played and so on, Tony said "tnx man so much, i had problems with my pedalboard but it gone pretty well! But hey - watch them now!!!", and he pointed at Vader guys, who were just ready on the stage for playing. Vader and Doc were AWESOME! 🎉 🎉 👍 👍

Docent miał tę lekkość i szybkość nawalania w bębny. Wyglada jak dziecko, które się tym bawi. No i totalna powaga, zero zmęczenia. Jak dla mnie bardzo dobry pałkers. Do tego zacnego grona zaliczyłbym Raymonda Herrerę z Fear Factory i Vitka z Decapitated. Pzdr.

Daray may be faster and more technical than Doc ever was but he can never match the frenetic feeling and drive that Doc gave Vader's songs. Doc, you are the Master.

Doc was an unprecedented talent, the once said that apart from metal music, he is inspired by techno music. This is what you can hear in his playing, he was incredibly precise and powerful musician.

That makes a lot of sense, given his drum performance and programming for the electronic tracks on the _Future of the Past_ album (1996), especially Vader's cover of Depeche Mode's _I.F.Y._ Highly recommended tribute album.
