Why in the world would you want to remove you oil pressure light?!?

@@unmountablebootvolume it's not the oil pressure light. This sensor of the car to let you know that the oil it's at low level or the quality its poor. Some cars come fitted with this sensor, some don't, mine came without but i still have the Yelllow (not red) flashing oil sensor in the cluster.

@@euphoroian OK, that makes more sense. I remember they had something similar on the sharan, where it would beep and say "check oil level" if the hood wasn't opened for a while, which could also be caused by a failed hood switch (or it having a bad ground connection or having been removed/disconnected as part of an alarm disable). I would check the wiring diagram for where the hood switch signal goes, and measure right at the ECU plug. It should short to ground if the hood is in one position (i don't remember if it's open or closed), and should be close to or more than 3.3v (the lowest logic voltage commonly found on an ECU) in the other position.

When Reading or writing mine i stuck on address 0x0718. Managed to read all epprom first time and saved it, but cant write IT back, it stops on address 0x0718

Neviem. Napriklad na starsie golfi 5 ci maju vdo budiky tak tam byi to mohlo ist. Na novsie co maju budiky visteon to prabdepodobne nejde.
