i have looked at a lot of tiny house designs and this is one of the best ones. it has features most tiny houses dont: a hood vent, double basin sink, a washing machine, a freezer and a bath fan in addition to the usual appliances. excellent storage features. he also managed to squeeze in two closets. fantastic. my only changes would be a bathroom facebowl and dormers in the loft.

Wow so many hateful comments! I guess people don't have any respect for each other anymore... As far as the house goes it's really a fantastic layout! Very efficient with a lot of nice features! I think these are becoming more and more common because our economy is being destroyed by communists in power. Anymore, people would rather not go into massive amounts of debt to buy a house or pour their money down the drain paying rent with zero return on their investment. It is still on a trailer, but it's a far cry from belonging in a typical trailer park. It's small, but classy and clean. It's not just about being an environmentalist hippie (not that there's anything wrong with that); but this could be a sound way to live comfortably and save money much faster so you could build and pay cash for a "normal" house if you so desired.

Possibly the Best Tiny house I have seen to date. I am getting to a point in my life where my children are getting older and I will really down size once they have moved on. This would be perfect. I am a more modern kind of guy and all of the other ones I have viewed remind me of a little old ladies home. Thanks for spicing it up a little.

Of all the tiny houses I have seen this one definitely has it all. I for one, can live with one sink. Dont see how this would be such a problem. Freezer, , washer,storage ...dang! Love this!

I think that may just be a washer, and you'd have to use a line. I miss my old house in the kinda sketchy neighborhood with a clothesline, garden, and I was able to have urban chickens. This tiny would be perfect in that old house's backyard, come to think of it!

Awesome layout!! However, for the toilet, I'd most likely import one from Japan with a separate sink over the water basin that re-uses the soapy water you washed your hands with to flush the toilet.. Just because I'm iffy about using the kitchen sink to wash my hands haha. Or I'd just put a separate sink overall.. gonna need it for shaving, etc.

NigelDK I don't think it's a big deal either, but the point is not to contaminate a food preparation area. Doubtful you would ever be rinsing food in a bathroom sink.

I've been really interested in Tiny Homes lately and have been watching a lot of videos. I have to say this one is by far THE best one I have seen. So much storage and detail. If I was to build one it would be exactly like this. This is perfect. You thought of everything and made it look like a home.

A great little house. This place fits all the requirements for comfort. Personally: 1: I would require only 1 long single cushion for the couch. Reason being: separating cushions, while sitting, are uncomfortable and are especially uncomfortable, on one's back, while sleeping. 2: I would also require that the beaker box be moved from cabinet under the sink. Reason being: It is inevitable that at some point there will be a break in the plumbing. Spraying water gets everywhere underneath. Water and electric do not mix.

Very nice! This is by FAR the Best Storage I have seen in a Tiny Home..However, All of these homes( and I have watched 1000's of Videos) appear to be for younger people that can actually get UP THOSE LADDERS into the sleeping area! I would like to see something designed for Seniors that can no longer do the ladders or steps....

KenoBabe777 I think Scott Stewart has a model tiny home called the Dubber that has a pull out master bed in the living area then a very small set of stair to the kitchen bathroom. But I do think tiny homes require a lot of flexibility to get the most out of 13 x8.

+KenoBabe777 For the *really* smalls ones like this, you'll end up sacrificing stuff (storage mainly). As cminmb said, there are some designs that raise part of the building and put the bed into the floor, but even then the design is less efficient since you have to to basically account for twice the bed's size (the pulled out and the hidden positions). Edit- +cminmd0041 where does he say this place is 13x8? Looks like ~18ft to me.

All of the people who are jumping on the tiny homebuilding bandwagon to make money are really designing Tiny McMansions that end up in the $40,000 -- $100,000 price range. The weight of this house must be considerable, considering all the use of 3/4" wood on every inner and outer surface except the roof. You will have noticed that he hasn't published either the total weight or the price. Most of the people who go for homes like this seem to put them up for sale in a year or two, and go back to the McMansion.

Hands down the best tiny house on wheels I have ever some across. Best use of space. Every nook and cranny utilized! The only thing I would add is a camper oven/stove and leave out the clothes washer. It is my intention to build one of these when my kids are grown and out on their own. I love this model!

I want a tiny home. I could work a low-paying job, and still live comfortably. I don't want kids, so no worries about the future. Easy to clean and maintain. Easy to move. I also love the idea of living without excess and being green to the environment. When I pay off my car, I'm considering moving out of my parent's and doing this.

I have seen a lot of tiny homes, but this by far is my favorite. I love the large working space and the simplicity of the bathroom area. The long windows in the storage space and sleeping loft are genius and look very stylish. I do wish though that the sleeping loft had been shown a bit more, but otherwise I think this is the most livable/luxurious small house I've seen! Thanks for sharing. =)

This is one of the most thoughtfully designed tiny homes I've seen; and I LOVE the wood! I find the price to be quite reasonable compared to other tiny homes. People expecting a tiny house to have a tiny price tag are trying to com[pare price to area. But square footage is cheap. The real expenses are the plumbing, electrical, heating, appliances. These have the same as a "real" house, just with less lumber in between.

Extremely good tour. By far the best tiny house I've seen. The only house with full kitchen and all appliances you would need. Plus a 52 inch Flat screen, no tiny house has one of those. Very adequate for a mancave. Only little thing missing is a table but I can see that solved with some portable table fold out table or something. That long couch storage can store rifles or sports gear. Just put solar panels and you perhaps have the ultimate tiny house.

This is the best tiny home I have seen thus far. Its amazing what you did with just 150 sq. ft. I love all the storage. The kitchen and bathroom have all the comforts of a traditional home. The washing machine blew my mind. Please make this house affordable, you will help a lot of people if you do:) One of the reasons I am looking to downsize is because it is to expensive to live in a traditional home. But I am noticing that the price of these house can be expensive too ($50k to $20k).

I have seen heaps of these videos before of tiny houses. Quite frankly, I have felt that they are too small for me to live in and have instead been looking at Texas Tiny Houses as an option. This is the best layout I have seen so far, great that you have a fridge ( good size ) and a seperate freezer lots of storage. Suggestion, a double cupboard built in the bathroom, up the top part of the wall, that could take toilet rolls, shampoo, soap, tothpaste, tooth brushes, shavers etc would be a godsend to many.!!!!!

This is one of the best ones I've seen online. It seems to have better storage options than some of the others. The one thing I would need to be different is the sleeping space. Side bays and windows make a tiny loft much less claustrophobia enduring. I also prefer a large single bowl sink, and would like a mini dishwasher, a garbage disposal even though it is better to compost, and a mini dryer would complete the home, but I haven't seen one yet with all of these.

Tony Mayer Think materialism, Tony. That is what consumes the negative nabobs, etc., today. In the seventies as a university student I could rent a two room suite with a furnished kitchen and bed-sitting room, utilities included except for the gas stove ($3.30 pr month no matter how often you cooked or toked). The washroom and two loos were down the hallway and shared between seven suites, most had three rooms for $65. Our C$ was close to par US$ I believe. The washroom had only a tub, no shower, yet I don’t remember ever having to wait for my bath or anyone using it immediately after I had. It was a simple life, with sparser trappings and of simpler needs. Life was shared with neighbours and jaunts around the busy commercial neighbourhood and parks along the river. Minimum wage was $1.65/h so that in today’s money the rent would have been less than 6 times or about $220 a month. A young couple could easily have shared the suite. Tony, what if land from towns and cities were provided for the simple living these Tiny Homes could provide? Nothing like the terrible trailer courts that often degenerate over time on their small rectangular spots. These might have garden space but enough public space for leisure and walks, set in a park like wilderness, unsuitable for commercial use. Something’s got to give with the storm that is just beginning and which will most likely lay waste this and the following generations. Thinking out side the box has become the crucial skill but sadly the vast majority continue on subsumed with the expedience of their education based not on study and examination but of learning, propaganda and indoctrination. I am concerned about the possibility of fire or extensive damage to the wood which immediately surrounds the heater on 3 sides. I agree about the dormers needed in the loft and working on a better plan for the limited space for the narrow ladder. Move the tiny oven to the area with the outlet that looks like it is for microwaves and put the microwave in its place. Raising the counter top for taller people is also a great idea, especially for my messed up neck. Brilliant storage for towels, etc., over the compost toilet. I've read this toilet is no big deal with odors. In all, this is one very good layout for living the minimalist lifestyle.

I just adore the mini oven and w/d set up but agree on the dual use sink. Otherwise though a lovely place!
