It takes so much skill to perform any of the songs you cover in just one take as you seem to do. I think most people don't realize how much work it must have taken you to get to this level of confidence in your voice to deliver such a beautiful performance without dozens of takes all comped together. Well I usually do one good take, then as I'm mixing, if there are any small parts where they're pitchy or I just don't like it, I'll go and record those parts. So I wouldn't say I've perfected it yet but hopefully one day I'll be able to do one clean take! Luckily with NieR covers I don't usually have to fix much🙏🏻🙏🏻😅

You know, I never heard in your covers where the cuts are so that means you're doing a good job hiding them! On the other hand, do you have some advice for someone trying to learn to sing? What helped you the most in your singing journey? Or is there no magic trick and it's all just a lot of singing in your free time? I remember trying various exercises over the years but it feels like my voice never really got better so I kinda gave up on it and accepted my fate as a terrible singer lol (it doesn't stop me from making music though 🤣)

I'm honestly still going through the journey of improving my vocal skills. It's still pretty difficult to belt and sing more intense songs (which I love) so I've been singing 5 days a week (I just started about 5 months ago). It has improved a little, but I still think I've got a looot more to improve and a looong way to go. I'd say if you can, get a vocal coach to avoid any wrong techniques. If you can't, watch videos on different singing techniques and exercises. I'm not a professional in this so I can't say much more haha. Wish you the best in your singing journey!

@@akaReEn Thank you for the answer and advice :) I gotta say, it's an amazing progress for 5 months... you have some serious natural talent and paired with hard work and determination it will certainly yield you great results. Training 5 days a week is a lot! I feel you on struggling with singing more intense songs (or shouting/screaming ones), when I sing them I get a sore throat and lose my voice pretty quickly so after that happens hitting the higher notes is very hard. I gotta figure it out. I also wish you best on your music journey! :) What's your musical "end" goal though if you don't mind me asking? Do you plan to become a professional studio singer or start creating your original music? (I'd love to hear it!) I'm curious.

I think you should maybe look into vocal warm up videos and technique videos on singing since getting sore throat after singing (even intense songs) often is a sign of singing incorrectly which could hurt your voice in the long run. My end goal is obviously to improve my skills, but also yes I'd love to sing and have my own songs one day. Also, I'd love to sing for games and anime so I guess those could be in my end goal list. Anyways, I believe you'll improve your voice for sure! Just gotta work hard✊🏻✊🏻
