These vagus nerve exercise videos are incredible thank you. I’m using vagal toning as part of a strategy to recover from a debilitating long-term illness that put me in a wheelchair. Can I also compliment your videos for having no distracting music and no irritating sound effects… Just you talking and straight to the point. Absolutely love it! Wish more KZbin videos were like this.

This video is an absolute gem for anyone like me who’s looking to tap into deep relaxation through vagus nerve stimulation. The two techniques Jill demonstrates are both simple yet profoundly effective. The side-lying position with the Coregeous Ball along the ribs really helps me connect with my breath and release tension in my diaphragm and lungs. The second technique, with the ball on the sternum, is particularly powerful-it feels like a direct line to calming my heart and inducing a sense of peace. Spending 10 to 20 minutes on these techniques is such a restorative way for me to unwind and reset at the end of the day. Thank you for sharing these valuable tools!

I was searching for a video that'd help me with my nerve pain in my lower ribs (oof it bad tonight) and oh my lord this worked like a charm! All I had was a firm pillow but it worked anyway 🙌🏻 my torso feels so relaxed

Thank you very much for these videos. Like some other people here, I’d like to know about a substitute for this type of ball. Could it be a little smaller? I have a smaller one at home.

I was naturally having to do this type of breath work last night due to inner muscle spasms during the night. Then your video was in my suggested videos this morning. I'm going to do these exercises with a small, round pillow I have. Thank you!

Are we supposed to hold the tensing up / cough reflex while we breath out or is it a momentary hold?

You can use a pillow to replace your Coregeous Ball for these moves. We 100% agree that we want everyone to be able to use the Roll Model Method with our without our products. Stay tuned and we'll post more in the future.

how do you act as though you will cough??
@jillmiller3892 жыл бұрын
Great question, try an alternate set of cues: inhale, hold your breath, don't let air escape-but act as though you were going to blow out candles on a cake without letting air out AND without straining to do this action.

It's the relaxation response that affects the vagus nerve. MUCH easier ways to do this: meditation is #1, yoga breathing, foot massage. All these experts, lol.

Can you do this without a ball, like maybe a pillow if that’s all you have ?

Absolutely! A pillow, a rolled up towel - we love creative ways to make our own props!

I had sleep apnea 2 years ago, treated it with pills from my doctor. 2 weeks ago I got it again... And it wont go away. I dont know if in daytime i breath well but at night when I begin to "dream" I spasm and wake up dizzy because I dont breathe... Can someone give me advice? I am not afraid to die but I dont want to die while sleeping...

I try to focus on the video. and I fucking can't. all I can do is sob my soul out. people always think I'm much-much older than I am. and it's so-so very-very humiliating. it fills me with overwhelming grief and rage and shame. how will I ever attract a mate, if the opposite sex isn't attracted to me? I literally die inside. part of me dies: from the powerlessness and the shame...
