how does the rudder mechanism work?

Dear Michael, The mechanism is built with a stainless steel spindle (stem), a non-rising stem and integrated stem bearing plus a rotatable stem nut. The actuation can be manually or via various drives for automated control. Much care is taken on the guiding system of the gate over the complete movement.
