This is a high quality, animated, rock backing track in the style of Steve Vai and Joe Satriani in the F# Mixolydian, B Mixolydian and A Lydian mode for guitar.
Excellent for improvising, learning modes, scales, chords and arpeggio's. I actually like this version best! I really like Ice Nine and Cool nine as a backing track for practicing mixolidian, but what I like about this is that you can go back and forth with Lidian. And I love just playing the backing track with my tube amp saturated!!

@@QJamTracks Joe Satriani created a scheme (may not have been his idea, I think it was his teacher).. you take a single pitch.. Say ("A") then you use, use 3 or more modes (major/harm min/melodic) any modes off that key not: ergo: A Dorian, then A-Lydian b7, the A-Lochrian.. etc.. in a song form.. he did it in his old "Ice Nine" days.. early stuff is full of Pitch Axis.. You get the idea. you nearly did that in the one above, but changed the Pitch instead of using the same key center pitch thru out.. it's an amazing sound.. "Lords of Karma" as examples..

Hi David. I'm using a Fractal Axe FX directly into the DAW (Sonar Platinum). I shape the sound with an external EQ plugin and compression plugin. I allways record in stereo. So I record all guitar parts twice. One for left, one for right.
