No one else couldve nailed that role like Val. I would watch that movie every day for about 4 months in 2014 its something special

Such a great performance as Jim Morrison, no one else could have done it as well. He helped create a whole new generation of Doors fans with that film too, legend.

Yep, in this interview you can also detect a resemblance. Really good period for Val, with great work in "Tombstone" and "Batman Forever" soon to come.

Actually the band members couldn't tell Jim apart from Val when they heard the recordings for the movie.

At least a genuine genius as an actor, infact the only people that can see and agree with me that Kilmer has made it almost an unconscious, conscious craft to acting as at least a gift would be someone who studied method acting. Also why Bobby Dinero and only few others eminate this eschalan of artistry
