It is known that after reaching 21B, the next boss ult will surely kill vala and then thats only when koko uses her ult even if kokos energy bar is already full before vala dies or even before boss ults. it is a very obvious programmed event in the game.

Vala's issue is that the boss has transitions where he flies into the air and resets agro. Korin stands at range generally so when the boss lands, he does not prioritize him, Vala is always the closest unit to the boss so when he lands the first time, she is tanking. She will do damage faster, but she also takes agro on the boss and instantly dies at around 16b or so. She's pretty good at low res though, because she can tank fine up until a point and she will ensure you're getting to your damage cap from scaling.

Korin allows the boss to take 1 step forward due to his 2 range basics but vala keeps the boss at his spot which doesn't allow smokey to apply his damage , should be around 5 mil more which will make your vala run much higher than korin if smokey did his dmg 😢

I have M+ Reiner, but the team Thoran (M), Corin(S+), Vala(S), Smokey(M), Koko(S+) works for me the best rn, when the boss is under 50%

@@Frapantje I use evocation spell and get a little over 12B dmg. My units are now on 160/170lv. The important factor for me is that I have Corin's EX weapon on 10lv

Korin allowed other heroes to make damage. When you used Vala, Smokey has 0 damage.
