Great video! I went to Peñiscola many years ago with my first English boyfriend, I remember eating “arroz negro” by the sea and going to the castle, but I didn’t see all the nice places you are showing here. You are amazing at finding the best spots of each place you visit! Great choice of sexy jazzy music 👏🏻👌💕

Looks super beautiful! Love seeing all these costal Spanish cities. I also love seeing all these little craft beer places. Always a top thing to check out for me when I visit new place! I used to work for Stone Brewing, the California craft beer company. Ever tried their beer?!
@ACoupleofNomads3 жыл бұрын
Very cool town😎 if there is a craft brewery I usually try to stop in for a cold one! I have had Stone before, but never been there. The craft beer scene here is nothing like the US, they had the pumpkin ale on draft, in the summer😂 But very cool you worked there!

If you plan to go back again try in September from the 7th. They celebrate "Las Fiestas Patronales" and you will be able to enjoy lots of diferentes things such as La batalla de los moros y cristianos, los toros, fuegos artificiales and on the last weekend the most beautiful "desfile de moros y cristianos " Thank you for the lovely video!!🤩

Best video ever about the town. We visited in March, and many places were closed for the season. We're moving there in a couple of years, and I regularly watch videos of the town to feed my nostalgia for the town. Yours so far is the best, the most informative and the least boring. I loved using the tip of one snail to fish out the other. Pun very much intended. Lol. One little thing, though. Dios está bien means god is well and not good. That would have been dios es bueno. :) I hope you are enjoying living in Valencia. We are addicted to suburban life and don't want to live in cities ever again. This is why we chose a small town. Now, if we were to live in Valencia, we would definitely love in El Cabanyal. As I write this, I'm watching your video on the neighborhood.

Thank you Marta! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed our video. Peñiscola is a beautiful town with an amazing weather, I’m sure you guys will enjoy it 😊 We think Valencia is great since it’s a city yet pretty relaxed, it’s not as busy as the other large cities we lived before like L.A. Thank you for watching our videos! 🥰

When I learned Spanish, bien meant good and bueno meant okay. So 'god is good' makes more sense to me, and it's what Christians tend to say.

@@brianwhite1189 sorry, not the case. Bien = well. Bueno = good. "Ok" is not an accurate translation.

Awe. Cool video. Like I said before I’ll be in region on/after September 15 until summer 2022, in Alcossebre which is the next village south of Peñsicola 10 kilometers away. Haven’t found a similar video of that town. Hope it’s similar.

Thanks for watching Ken! Unfortunately we couldn’t get to Alcossebre this time, but maybe in the future! The train does stop there.
@joseluispalomares12703 жыл бұрын
Disculpa,no hablo ingles. A mi particularmente me gustan Can Roig,El Pikapote,y retaurante El Pinar.Este ultimo tiene unas vistas impagables desde lo alto de la sierra.Suerte en tu estancia,seguramente nos crucemos por alli ,comienzo mis vacaciones anuales por la zona sobre el dia 10 !!Saludos!!!
@kennielsen38963 жыл бұрын
Gracias.

@ACoupleofNomads3 жыл бұрын
Hi Helga, thank you for watching our video. It might be a bit difficult to do a day trip. It takes 1.5 hrs for fast train and 2.5 hrs for slow train to get there, once you get to the train station, you will need to take a taxi, which will take another 15-20 mins. (1.5 hrs for driving one way) Lots of restaurants in old town may not even be open until the dinner time as that’s the time when the town becomes more vibrant. We recommend you to stay overnight to fully enjoy this beautiful town. 💙

I have another question. If you had to choose Alicante or Peniscola, where would you go?
@ACoupleofNomads3 жыл бұрын
They are 2 very different places! Alicante is a city and Peñiscola is a slow vacation town. We love them both but for different reasons. It really is depending on what you want. We would suggest to watch our Alicante video and see what you would prefer! Transportation wise, Alicante is easier to get to without a car. Hope you enjoy this beautiful Valencian community!

We're retiring in Spain in a couple of years. We chose Peñíscola as our home-to-be because of the weather. Alicante can be VERY hot in the summer, whereas Catalonia up north can get cold and extremely windy. So take that into account when considering the time to go to Spain. :)
