Valencia has a mix of old and new buildings, giving it a real special feel of its own. From medieval castles and towers to modernist and art deco architecture, from nice little shops to big shopping centres, Valencia has it all.

Thank you for this video. It's the best I've seen on Valencia. I am a house sitter and I'll be leaving my current assignment in Helsinki, Finland on Wednesday to go to Valencia for 5 weeks. I'm so excited because I'll have plenty of time to really visit all of the sites. I don't have to rush through them. I'm going to visit all of the places you've listed. Also, in case you don't know, there are some really cool tours and things to do with AirBnB Experiences. I paid about $75 US for an evening making paella with a chef in a home (when I get to Valencia). It includes wine and jazz. At the end, we all eat the paella together. There are similar things to do with the site, Like A Local. I am doing a Vespa tour of Lisbon with a guide for one day on a stopover before I get to Valencia. Just some fun things to add to the itinerary if you have time and a little extra cash. I subscribed!

@bealocalvalencia40726 жыл бұрын
Are you sure? If they are the bacalao ones, in Valencia they are normally made with potato not bechamel. Not sure how they make them in Boatella; haven't been there in ages!
@For91Days6 жыл бұрын
I'm from Germany and our Kroketten are made from potatoes - so every time I mention potatoes and croquetas people flip here. But yeah, the bacalao version we've seen in Lisbon are with potatoes.

That's weird because croquetas de patata are quite common, although it does depend on the region. Some places use the word buñuelo instead of croquetas when they are made with bacalao and potato.

Horchata is a popular drink in the former Spanish colonies and there are several kinds across regions. For example, in Puerto Rico, horchata is made with sesame seeds, not rice or almonds. It's known as "horchata de ajonjoli" and it's usually a simple concoction of sesame seeds, sugar, water, and cinnamon. If you like "Mexican" horchata (rice) you'd probably like the Puerto Rican version too.

Thank you! His real name is George and Pumpy is just a fun nickname we have for him because a few years ago in Chiang Mai, Thailand he ordered a salad base with 4x extra pumpkin added to it...lol

El origen de la fideguá es la ciudad valenciana de Gandía, cuna de los únicos Papas españoles-valencianos, la familia Borja, que han gobernado Roma.

My husband and I have been following your channel. You do not mention anything about getting tickets, how one gets tickets, if tickets to the various sights are needed, must tickets be bought ahead of time online, etc. In the videos it seems you are just walking in, gratis. Will you, please, include such information?

Todas las maravillas actuales de Valencia, se han hecho gracias a políticos,inteligentes, soñadores y futuristas. Los cuales tuvieron muchas críticas durante años. La misma acción que los faraones de Egipto,y ahora disfrutamos de las pirámides.
