I know this will sound insincere coming from an OSU fan, but I was around during the "Cooper" years and I would have loved for someone in Columbus to shoot as straight and be as honest as Valenti was in this broadcast. I hear you. I went to OSU during the Cooper years and they were miserable. However, there was no wool over our eyes. The fans hated Cooper, OSU President Gee, however, did not. Hence the misery lasted much longer than was necessary. However, Cooper never sank to this level. This is truly, on all levels, a dumpster fire. That being said, I hope Harbaugh signs the extension!

Rich Rod was trending in the right direction-just like he had his first couple years at previous programs before taking off. He got fired prematurely. A team he put together went on to win the Sugar Bowl the next with one of the worst head coaches in college football. If they had extended Rich Rod I truly believe he would have revolutionized Michigan football and they’d have turned into a perennial national contender.

Michigan says there are number, but won't show or say what sport and how many in that sport. My understanding that they had about 9 the week of the Ohio state game and they opt out. Ohio state had double that the week of the msu game and they played. Seems like they are using covid as an escape goat to not get their butts kicked.

I think Valenti is right here but he loses credibility when he talks about the MSU run for 5 years. Reason being while MSU was solid program for 5 years 2010-2015 the whole big ten other than OSU was a dumpster fire. When he makes references to 2015 as if "we did it, we went on the road and beat everyone in order to get the title". Umm well kind of. Other than OSU and UM rest of Big Ten sucked. which took a miracle 99-100 times no team is going to have that luxury. The fact they should have lost to an average UM team said alot.
