Oh I love this recording - the tempo is as it is intended. There are some wonderful other recordings, but often they are a bit slowe, and the theme, the Paganini Rondo from a violinconcerto is fast. And note how musically satisfying, fun, joking, the superfast passage is, the one at 02:10 - two-hand chromatic figure upwards to a trill, and then - suddenly the trill goes pianissimo and is waiting to explode! Love it.
