English isn't even her native language, and she still speaks better English than Brenda Schwab. And not only speaks her native Russian, but also Spanish fluently. Let that sink in. She's a dominant champion who trains hard, and still has time to ability to perfect 3 language and also hobbies like being a marksman. Brenda has been speaking English for about 40 years and talks for a living, and stuff can't properly speak at even a 1st/2nd grade level. Unbelievable.

Styles make fights, Blanchfield got hit by Andrade and was outstriking her on the feet, something Valentina didnt do as much. Blanchfield gets way better fight by fight in every aspect of her game. I do not think Valentina has fought someone who pressures like Blanchfield with a high level clinch besides Tailia Santos who is levels below Blanchfield in the clinch and in grappling situations. I think stylistically Valentina will be easier than Andrade for Blanchfield due to this. Valentina needs range and distance to win a fight of this level of MMA. Blanchfield will bully her with pressure and break Valentina. Valentina will dodge this fight

Valentina striking at range is everything in this matchup plus implementing her own offensive grappling which she can do against Blanchfield. The pressure of Blanchfield can make that harder

It’s good that she lost she needed to be humbled because she has been trashing and dismissive with the fly weight division contenders recently. What she needs to work on is her boxing because Grasso absolutely destroyed her in the stand up game. First time I’ve seen her get dominated like that ever, Grasso I think can take on Amanda Nunes based on that victory.
