@@sproutzer Not so. A simple jab down the pipe was the answer. She made Grasso miss a lot of punches and nullified her boxing through the fight. Also, How did Grasso turn her to a wrestler in a “MMA” fight. That doesn’t make any sense, to be honest. This ain’t boxing my friend. Wrestling is apart of MMA, correct? Why are you all criticizing her versatility when that’s what every fighter in the UFC should be aiming for. Again, it’s MMA, not boxing. Also, Valentina has always implemented her wrestling skills in her fights since she was the champion. Even when it was clear that she could out strike her opponent, she mixed it up like a Mixed Martial Artist suppose to. Also, Grasso had begun to over extend herself with her punches and Valentina took advantage of her with takedowns. If you don’t respect MMA for what it really is, you shouldn’t comment on a fighter doing what they should do in moments of the fight. Give the woman some credit for her multifaceted skill sets.
