Hi Somidoshoppers~
Hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day! Matthew and I didn’t do anything day of, but I had a really nice time with him and friends the following weekend! We shopped at VCA and had dinner at Nisei, a newly-earned 1 Michelin star restaurant that serves Japanese-inspired cuisine 🤤 The day after I went shopping with some girlfriends and took you all along with me!! There’s a lot of chattiness in this video 😅 I was being so indecisive about which VCA 5-motif bracelet I wanted to order-please leave your opinions down below!! 🤭 As always, I had so much fun sharing some tidbits of my life with you all! 💕

I love that MOP on your skin!! Gorgeous. Also omg that jacquemus top is too good😍😍. I like the color of the chalcedony but if your gut says MOP go with it!! I love patent leather!! You know how I feel about my medium Djoy!! Obsessed with it and can’t get enough. Also, the eggplant on the envelopes😂😂😂😂😂.

Loved this vlog! 🫶🏼 I think WG MOP would be stunning with your future 💍 and is probably one of the most classic VCA combos. However Chalcedony is gorgeous and still fairly neutral and a little more durable. I don’t think you can go wrong with either & can’t wait to see what you add! Nisei looked amazing - glad you got to celebrate Valentine’s Day in such a special way! ❤

Hi Somin! Always enjoy watching your vlogs!😊 I would say go with MOP I think it looks better on you. I agreed with you that the chalcedony does look a little dull and it didn’t really stand out. I been wanting to visit the VCA in SF but I’ve been hearing that stock been low so I’ve been holding off. I’ve been really interested in adding the 5 motifs yellow gold or MOP bracelet as well.😅I will be adding Nisei to my restaurant list to try in SF for my husband and I!😍 Thanks for taking us along with you!☺️ Have a great week/weekend!😊

I do have to admit stock isn’t great 😭😭 but some days are definitely more lucky than others! Have you checked out the Palo Alto boutique in neiman Marcus? I haven’t made my way over there yet (I hear it’s tiny); but I do know on opening day the stock was excellent 🥹

I have the chalcedony necklace! The stone is actually seethrough and doesn't have a gold backing like the MOP motifs.

My heart says you need both but MOP is chef's kiss! I flew to sf to spend valentine's day with my bf and we got engaged. I asked for a rose gold tiffany ring and bought the cartier love huggies as well. Now I just need a rose gold bracelet and I can be in peace....

I love chalcedony but it sounds like your gut is going for the MOP. I don't own a chalcedony piece but I have seen the chalcedony vintage Alhambra pendant irl and it was beautiful but I was surprised how translucent it is when on the skin. It didn't look translucent in the pendant watch you tried because it's thicker and not double-sided like it is in the Alhambra setting. However, it's still a gorgeous stone. Just something to consider😊 Both choices are great pieces. Get which ever makes you happy.. And Bori is soo cute 🥰😘💘

I do really love how chalcedony looks a little different on everyone and in different season because of how it looks against different skin tones and lighting 💕 makes it such a unique piece!! I probably change my mind every day regarding the MOP and chalcedony 😅 thank you for watching though and bori says hi!! 🥰🐕

I am going to be honest, I think you should wait on the 5 motif until there is one you absolutely love. I have some mother of pearl pieces and they scratch so easily. Plus this will be on your wrist exposed to everything.

Thank you for sharing that!! I’ve also watched several videos about people showing their MOP dulling in certain areas with very little use 😭 seems like it will be a hassle to even wear during summer due to sweat 🥹 I do thinks it’s a good idea to just wait until something comes into store that I absolutely love instead of ordering!
