komisan became an anime because its manga was a massive success for years. it got number 1 for a long time and it is the best option to continue the series. the art style is fantastic

I really like the valentine part, it's quite relatable, not the typical unrealistic anime scenario or the overly dramatic borderline cringe one, but the simple scenario with simple lines without trying so hard to be poetic or complicated bc they're just kids, highscoolar. It makes it so lifelike for this kind of show. Also the part where Tadano gently pushes Komi's back is really good too. It would be so lovely to have someone really understand you without you expecting it or saying anything.

I kindof relate with Tadano like he is so selfless, help others first, he is kind, responsible but he does not get application from other other than komi makes me sad he almost got no chocolates. He is one of the best male characters in anime he doesn't have super power or special ability yet he is kind and sweet he is the biggest green flag.

Ikr? He is not those typical unrealisticly attractive, flashy, smart and all ✨ male anime progonist or the loser ones but somehow the lead girl still high over heel for him anyway. He's just a simple decent guy with relatably really good personality. He's breath of a fresh air. I believe in Chadano supremacy...

There's also the trope of the absurdly average guy, and Tadano is not even that, fully. After all he's at least exceptionally good in 1 thing: ice skating.

There is also a 2nd possibility. I thought about it but I'm sure other did too. Any of the ladies that are friends with tadano, are also friends with Komi. As a result, they pretty much think the two are a couple. The two friends komi hang out with on the school trip thought so too. It possible none of them wanted to step on komi shoes, and give him cholate, more so before her.

Considering the ending of last ep, you can litteraly consider it as an official annoucement for S3, there is no way that OEM Studio doesn't adapt it, It made a massive success especially in Europe and North America (including japan ofc). As a fun fact I did count a total of 9 charaters from 2nd year on the outro of this season ;)
