Valentine's Day Topiary Watercolor Tutorial

Paint along with me to create this watercolor Valentine topiary! I'm framing this 8x10, but it would make a super sweet design for a card, too!
-350gsm watercolor paper from Dollar Tree
-Size 2 OOKU quill brush
-large flat brush
-Sonnet and SeimiArt watercolors

Thank you so much. I have been struggling to get back to painting after 10 years of severe auto-immune diseases and severe emotional abuse and trauma. I found I have become afraid of painting because of color, which is connected to emotions. I painted this topiary with slightly different colors as I have only the basics and had to mix colors.

It's surprisingly decent paper, imo. And I certainly feel able to practice more because I'm keeping costs down. But admittedly I can't compare it anything more pricy than Canson, Lol!

Thank you! And that dish is one of my treasures! It's hand made Italian ceramic, and I found it at a local thrift store. It had a Home Goods sticker on the back, so believe me I keep my eyes peeled when shopping there, too! 😍
