The Easiest Watercolor Holiday Cards!

Join me and paint some fun holiday cards in watercolor! You don't need any drawing skills for this one, just some paint and paper! We'll begin by painting our trees and spend some time embellishing them with whatever supplies you have on hand. Below are the supplies I used:
Strathmore 140lb. Watercolor Cards/Envelope Pack
Daniel Smith Watercolors
Silver Black Velvet Watercolor brushes size 4 & 6 round
Princeton Summit size 0 & 2
Eraser
White Gel Pens or Dr. PH Martin Bleed Proof White or White Gouache/acrylic will work
Metallic gel pens or gold metallic watercolor - you can also use metallic acrylics over watercolor if you have those

There are so many combinations of water to paper to paint…the unpredictability is what makes it fun! I usually write out notes next to my experiences with color…I don’t call them mistakes but experiments. Now that I’m getting a little better, I can turn around something I don’t like to something better.
