I love the way you and Tom interact together, you guys are so cute and the expression on his face when you came in and your red dress was priceless. I really enjoyed seeing Barney interact with the balloon I just laughed out loud when he started barking at it because it was so new to him. You’re lucky you have a good man that loves to cook, that meal looked impressive. Something that I like to do when my dogs is asleep is to smell his feet , smells like biscuits 🐶🐶🐶. One of my dogs used to knock balloons up in the air to play with them but my chihuahua runs away lol xx

I don’t usually comment but I loved this little insight to a date night. Also miss how I used to do this with my husband (before kids) it’s quite tricky now to have any romance. Once we move back into tiers we will have a nice evening in if my mum can watch the kids. We do have a little date when they are in bed but that’s 8pm and not enough time to get all dressed up and cook. Aw, could you do things like carpet picnic.... where you set up a picnic in your front room/dining room, then you and Hubby can hide little cute messages to each other (in your napkin) or under a bit of food kind of thing. Maybe do a quick meet me in the kitchen (when the kids are upstairs) for a cheeky kiss, or run a bath for each other? I know it's not the same as a lovely meal out, or snuggle at the cinema, but at least the little things keep you both feeling like yourselves and not just mum and dad :-D
