This is not Giuseppe Valentini, but Robert Valentine from England. He settled in Rome as ‘Roberto Valentini Inglese’.

Existe también un disco con Musica Antiqua Koln y Goebel; que contiene un concierto para violin de Valentini junto con otros autores que quizás desconozcas, te lo recomiendo. Saludos

Giuseppe Valentini (Florence, 14 décembre 1681 - Rome, novembre 1753) est un violoniste, peintre, poète et compositeur italien, connu principalement en tant que compositeur de musique instrumentale. Même si sa notoriété est éclipsée par celles de Arcangelo Corelli, Antonio Vivaldi et Pietro Locatelli, sa contribution à la musique baroque italienne est remarquable et plusieurs de ses travaux ont été publiés dans différents pays européens.

Sou fã do chorinho, com seus cavaquinhos e bandolins, violões e flautas. Um dos poucos gêneros musicais contemporâneos onde esses primeiros são ainda utilizados, com efeito muito particular. Aqui, na música barroca, o mandolim tinha ainda seu lugar. Lástima que esteja desaparecendo.
