Wow! Such an elegant show! The clothing was just edgy enough. The proportions and tailoring was spot on. And there was just enough color to take the average man out of his comfort zone but not too far. The ending where the designer escorted the singer off stage in that elegant gown was the icing on the cake for me.

fka twigs was stunning. But this should have been for a haut couture show. And we all know it. Honestly the garments were kinda boring. Andthe music really offset from the suits. If there was more white floral prints, more interesting lighting, it would have been really nice.

There's a very occidental feel to this collection, both in the silhouette and the print, reminiscent of 20th century Yohji Yamamoto but with a modern 21st century Valentino slant to it. I can see this on John Malkovich.

Because it is a collective of all popular menswear trends from the past couple of years. Trends that were started by Alessandro Michele at Gucci and sustained by Demna Gavasalia at Balenciaga. This collection presents a horrible mish-mash of traditional tailoring and street style that truly doesn't make sense as a concept in fashion.

For sure! When it started with FKA, I thought goddamn, this show is going to be IT! But, look after look of plain, boring, monogrammed clothes and accessories just destroyed my initial opinion. Well, he's still a fantastic designer, this season was just incredibly uninspired.

@@DmitriRuwan Pierpaolo Piccioli has revived the house of Valentino to new heights in terms of womenswear and Haute Couture. I mean he is one of the very few designers alive who get a standing ovation at their shows. But menswear, not so much!
